Endangered Species Essay Authors
A couple of our Cushing Stars are now published authors! Norah F and Jackson K in Mrs. Ramsey's 3rd grade class had their essays published in an online gallery for the Endangered Species Coalition's essay project. Students from across the country submitted informative essays about ESA-listed species and the threats they face, creative stories written from the perspective of threatened and endangered species, persuasive essays about the importance of the ESA, and more. You can find the gallery here. Way to go Norah and Jackson on this fantastic accomplishment!

RSVP NOW! Learn more about four-year-old kindergarten in the Kettle Moraine School District! This annual event is fun and informative for young learners and their families. Kettle Moraine’s 4K program strives to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning! Providing this programming to our community is an integral way to connect our youngest learners and families to our school district and prepare them for Kindergarten.
The event will feature a supervised 4K room so kids can interact and play while parents speak with educators, principals, and directors from our 4K programs. The open house format features booths from each of our elementary sites and wrap-around care partners, allowing you to find the right option for your family.
Watch for the next issue of the Communicator to learn more about learning targets in KM4K and how this experience prepares children for school, helps them develop social skills, and provides them with lots of exercise and engagement!

Jump Rope Club
The course will include learning to jump rope, skill challenges, team jump roping and at the conclusion of the course a jump rope show for parents.
Course will focus on fun, exercise and learning new challenges. Course is intended for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. The jump rope show at the end will include a 1-3 min jump rope performance with a team to music. The students will be working on this throughout the course. Enrollment is limited. After School Spanish at Cushing
The road to Spanish language learning success begins with this all new and exciting 8 week Spanish adventure. Join us as we jet set off to the bustling city of Madrid Spain.
