Class Placement Information for Next Year
The teams at Cushing take time to carefully balance all classrooms for the next school year.  They take gender, behavior, academics, and special needs into account.  If you have thoughts you would like us to consider about your child that we don’t already know, please complete THIS FORM.  Form(s) need to be submitted by May 2 for your information to be considered.

  • Summer Academy 2025 Dates: June 16-July 25 (no classes 7/4)

  • Summer Academy hours: 8 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

  • Courses for grades 5K-8 will be broken into two sessions each three weeks long. Families will still be able to sign up for all six weeks or choose to only do one session. 

  • Location: Wales Elementary and Kettle Moraine High School Campus

  • Online Registration opened March 17, 2025

MOVIE NIGHT - PRE-ORDER PIZZA

Pizza will be pre-order for the Cushing movie night on Thursday April 17, 2025.

Please complete this form by Tuesday April 15, 2025 to reserve your pizza(s). Pizza will cost $12. Pizza will need to be paid for at the movie, please have cash.

Water, Gatorade, and popcorn will be available for purchase at the movie.

If you order a pizza and are unable to attend the movie, you are still responsible for payment.

Dear Families:

We're excited to announce that our school will be hosting another Scholastic Book Fair, which will take place from the week of April 21st in the Activity Center.   

Wednesday April 23rd 9am-4:00pm
Thursday April 24th 9:00am - 6:30pm
Friday April 25th 9am-11:30am

For students, it's one of the most anticipated events of the school year, but we need volunteers to make it happen. We hope that you can offer your time and talents to help students experience Bookjoy firsthand! And, every purchase at the Fair directly benefits our school. So, it's a win-win!

Willy Wonka Jr." is a musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" following Charlie Bucket and other golden ticket winners on a magical tour of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, filled with quirky characters and unforgettable songs  Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy.

Shoot for a Cure

Kettle Moraine High School - West Gym

Led by the Marquette University men’s basketball team and Kettle Moraine Boys Varsity Coach Brian Richert, Shoot for a Cure is a skills and drills clinic for 3-8th grade boys and girls. This event will include fun games and drills for all-level players.

This is a fourth annual fundraiser to support Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), an organization devoted to funding critical research to treat and cure blood cancers. All proceeds of this event will go directly to LLS Wisconsin.

Jr Laser Football -2025
Registration is NOW OPEN for Junior Lasers Football! 
Early Bird Registration:  Now – April 7
Late Registration April 8 – June 27 (+$50)

K-4th Grade: Flag Football
Early Bird Registration: $275

  • The season will run from August through October.

  • Players will be randomly placed on teams that are balanced by grade-level.

  • Teams will end their season with an “Under the Lights” game on Vock Field.

  • We will need coaches, especially for the K-2 division.  Sign up in SportsEngine for this rewarding opportunity! 

5th- 8th Grade: Tackle Football
Early Bird Registration: $450

  • The season will run from August through October.

  • There will be 1-2 teams per grade.

  • We are excited to begin our third season in the Wisconsin AAYFL league!

"New" Spring Football Clinic offered
This spring clinic is open to current 4th-8th graders put on by high school players and coaches. The clinic will take place April 26 from 9-11 am at Vock Field at Culvers Stadium. Register today at

Cheerleading Fall of 2025
Register now for Jr. Laser and Little Laser Cheerleading for the fall.  Grades K-8 are encouraged to be part of the KM Cheer program.  

Grades K-2 practice once per week and grades 3-5 practice twice per week. The season runs August-October with performances on Saturday mornings at local flag football games.  

Grades 6-8 practice twice per week July-October with Saturday morning performance at local football games.

In order to participate in the competition season, an athlete must participate in the fall season.

Tennis and Pickleball Opportunities
The Kettle Moraine Tennis Association (KMTA) along with Community Education has many spring and summer opportunities for tennis and pickleball for youth through adult. 

All registrations are online through KM Community Education at https://kmsd.revtrak.net/rwcommunityeducation/

Pickleball - This year the all-access yearly pass will be your ticket to KMTA pickleball in 2025. Open pickleball will be offered various days/times Spring-Fall of 2025.

Men and Women Recreational Tennis Leagues -June-August This league will be organized by KMTA volunteers, and you will receive a schedule with possible bye weeks, depending on the number of registrants.  Singles and doubles will be available, with a heavy emphasis on doubles to maximize court time.  Balls will be provided

Adult Tennis Drill and Play - Men and Women players will be provided with instruction from tennis professionals and assistants on Tuesday evenings at KMHS. We will have two levels this year, beginner and intermediate/advanced. Each lesson will focus on a particular stroke/strategy that will be implemented into rally drills/games.

Youth Tennis Academy - Eligible players (ages 10 – 18) will be divided by ability level and specific lesson plans will be modified to meet the player’s ability.  Lessons will be progressive, consisting of technique instruction, drills, conditioning, and competition.  The program runs Monday-Thursday 8:30-10:20am. June 10-July 31. Enrollment is limited.

It's not too late to join our U8 Fastpitch Softball team!
Kettle Moraine Fastpitch Softball's U8 team is still looking for a couple players to round out our 2025 U8 roster (birthdate: Sept.2015 to August 2017). If your daughter is looking for a softball home this spring/summer please email
kmfastpitch1@gmail.comwith any questions you may have and our player development coordinator will reach out.
