A special thank you to Mirannda, Bethany, Brody, and Edith the leaders of our "Saturday Night Lasers" KMHS' original sketch comedy show for joining Mr. Bestor for announcements.
Students will have three advisory lessons dedicated to course registration planning: January 26, 29, and February 2. Please use this link to review resources to help prepare for course selection.
Course Information Night | Monday, 2.5.24 | 5:30-7:30 pm | KMHS
The Course Information Night schedule is as follows:
Auditorium Presentation (general course registration information) 5:30-6:00 pm
KMHS Course Information Fair (Department representatives are available) 5:30-7:30 pm
Course Selection Registration Assistance (Library Media Center) - 5:30-7:30 pm
NOTE: Students are not required to attend Course Information Night to register for courses.
The Infinite Campus course registration portal window:
Opens 8:00 am on Monday, February 5
Closes 3:00 pm on Friday, February 16
Course selections are processed equally once the course registration window closes, not in the order in which they are received. Making accurate course selections is very important, as it has a significant impact on which courses run, how many sections of each course are created, class sizes, and overall staffing. With that in mind, any requests for course changes cannot be guaranteed.
New Courses! Each day until February 9th, we will share information on new courses being offered by department.
Students will become proficient in essential business software applications, including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheets, specifically Microsoft Office. Students can earn industry Certification from the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification.

Coach Lewis has put in nearly three decades between high school and middle school track and high school cross country, coaching a total of 45 seasons.
He spent 20 seasons as the girls head track coach, six as an assistant coach for the middle school track program, 15 as the girls head cross country coach, and two as the girls assistant coach. He also served as the boys head cross-country coach for two seasons.
Lewis was named 2016 Girls Coach of the Year by the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association. He is one of only a handful of Wisconsin high school track coaches to achieve Level 3 Certification in individual events from USA Track and Field in the history of the WIAA. He has presented at the Wisconsin Track Coaches Association Annual Clinic eight times, in the area of coaching development for horizontal jumps and hurdles. Lewis has also served as Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association Officer for the past eight years, helping to grow the sport by mentoring new coaches.
MSD is incredibly proud of his top half finishes in a very tough Classic 8 every year as head track coach and all but one year as cross country coach, that is 36 of 37 times!! He had one cross-country team make it to state (2016, 3rd place) and twelve seasons where at least one individual qualified. His career winning percentage is over 80% (teams beat) in cross-country invitationals, ranking him in the top 5 in the state for all divisions during those 15 years. He qualified individuals for the state track meet all 20 seasons as head coach, with more than 50 total qualifiers and over 50% medaling by placing in the top six, Over 50% of the years, his teams finished in the top ten at the state meet.
Congrats Coach!! Your energy, dedication, and love of stats, will be missed.
There were many matches won including Senior Owen Knuth’s final dual meet victory.
Congratulations wrestlers and good luck at the Classic 8 Conference Championship next Friday, February 2nd at KM.

The Navy team placed first with their top 8 northern measuring 244 inches. The Gold team finished fifth with 223 inches for their 8 fish. The team caught multiple walleye as well, including a tournament winning 26 inch fish.
All of our members new to ice fishing caught their very first northern pike, making it an enjoyable day.
