Unclaimed Lost and Found will be donated THIS FRIDAY, October 13.
Be sure to check the two racks in the Commons, the lost and found bin by the Laser Entrance, and the Front Office (for smaller lost items). There are a number of coats, water bottles, iPods, jewelry, and more.

The Kettle Moraine Tennis Association is hosting a pickleball tournament THIS Sunday (October 15th- Packers have a bye!) at the Kettle Moraine Tennis Complex. The event will raise money needed to pay for the construction of the shed/pavilion so if you can't play, please consider donating.

Project Pitch It is a TV program that features 24 local Wisconsin entrepreneurs pitching their products, start-up businesses, or established businesses to 5 local Wisconsin business leaders and moguls airs on WISN-TV 12 in southeastern Wisconsin and on TV stations in Madison, La Crosse, Green Bay, and Wausau!
Students who appear on the show will receive cash prizes and mentoring from local Wisconsin leaders, in addition to TV exposure!

Distinguished Young Women of Wisconsin is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership, and talent in young women.
You must be a junior in high school to participate. Class of 2025 participants will attend a local program on January 21, 2024, or February 18, 2024, from 8-2 pm at Franklin High School and if selected to move forward, will continue to a week-long state program this summer at the Franklin Sabers Center. One Wisconsin Distinguished Young Women representative will be selected to continue to nationals the following summer.

The Hollows at Phantom Lake is looking for volunteers for Fridays and Saturdays October 13-28, 6-10 pm. Camp trails are lit with over 3000 hand-carved pumpkins!
Please consider being part of creating this magical journey through fairy lands, Viking ships, mermaids, witches, and wizards inhabiting the wooded trails and glistening shores of camp.
There are volunteer opportunities for parking attendants, trail monitors, and concession help.
Phantom Lake YMCA has served many Kettle Moraine students throughout the years including students with special needs. 100% of the proceeds are returned to the camp to ensure that campers can experience the Phantom Spirit regardless of need.
The Wisconsin Education Fair (WEF) will be held locally at two locations. This is a wonderful opportunity for students and their parents to collect a great deal of important information about post-secondary opportunities. All grades are welcome. Students and parents can meet and speak with representatives from universities, technical colleges, vocational schools, and all the branches of the military. Visit www.wefs.org for more details.

Individual State is this week October 12-14 in Madison.
Girls Cross Country Squads competed in the Purgolder Invite at Sheridan Park on the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan Saturday morning.
Both the varsity and JV finished a solid 2nd in their races.
Varsity was led by 3 top 10 finishes: Lola Schwartz 4th, Cassity Dechenne 6th, and Sydney Loehrl 9th.
The JV had two in the top 10, Georgia Boland 4th and Addie Davis 6th.
The regular wraps up this week with the Classic 8 conference meet on Saturday, at Arrowhead High School.
Kettle Moraine continues putting on a show in 2023!
The Lasers (8-0) defeated Mukwonago, 24-6, Friday to set up a winner-take-all matchup for the Classic 8 in the season finale with Muskego next week.

The PGA has four Major Golf Tournament events during the season: The Masters Tournament, The U.S. Open, The Open Championship, and The PGA Championship. The Grand Slam itinerary consists of the Australian Open, the French Open (also known as Roland Garros), Wimbledon, and the US Open. Each tournament is played over a two-week period.
At the 1997 Australian Open, Martina Hingis became the youngest-ever Grand Slam champion, winning the tournament aged 16.
Mickey Wright carded 82 Tour wins, as well as 13 major championships. Her majors included the 1958, 1960, 1961, and 1963 KPMG Women’s PGA Championships, the 1958, 1959, 1961, and 1964 U.S. Women’s Opens, the 1961 and 1962 Titleholders Championships, and the 1962, 1963, and 1966 Women’s Western Opens. Mickey was widely regarded as having one of the greatest golf swings of all time, and the Associated Press recognized Mickey as the Female Golfer of the Century.
