KMHS CAMPUS RECOGNIZED AS AP® SCHOLAR HONOR ROLL SCHOOL! 

Schools included in this recognition have AP programs that are delivering results for students while broadening access. This recognition is earned annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to providing opportunities for students to earn college credit and maximize college readiness. 4,570 schools were selected this year, representing 30% of eligible high schools in the US, US Territories, and Canada.

The Kettle Newspaper Publication Reminder 

Calling all writers, artists, photographers! The newly founded Kettle Newspaper Club is publishing for the first time at the end of November and is looking for submissions. If you would like to see your name in print or to share your work with the school and student body, please contact the editor Maggie Melnick at melnmag@kmsd.edu. Please try to have all submissions in by Tuesday, November 28th.

These diplomats were discussing Regional instability, journalists in conflict zones, Taiwan and its relationship with China, Climate change in the Global South resulting in environmental refugees, and stooping religious persecution along with many other world issues throughout the day. The students at Carthage were representing the countries of Montenegro, Nigeria, and Nicaragua!

KMMPA Meeting Monday!

Join the KM Music Parents Association for our November meeting on Monday, November 13th at 7:00 pm at KMHS in the Perform Community Room. The team is selling tins for the Lake Country area, Milwaukee area, and Madison area for $30 each.

All 6-12 grade Kettle Moraine Orchestra students are invited to attend at a performance by the Madison Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, February 24 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Great holiday gift for your orchestra-loving student!

Volunteer/service hour opportunity!  

KM Girls Basketball Club (KMGBC) is looking for volunteers in the KM concessions stand at our Lake Country Girls Basketball Association (LCGBA) league. The LCGBA league runs on the following Sundays: 11/12, 11/19, 12/10, 12/17, 1/7, 1/14, 1/28 and 2/4. Click here to sign up!

Note these hours count ONLY towards the KMGBC family 4-5 hours requirement (if you have a sibling in KMGBC), OR, as service hours for NHS, Key Club, Dick Ohm award, etc., and NOT toward Booster Club requirement for HS athletes for their sport.

Healing Hearts is a trusted, local, free, source of grief support for children, and families who grieve loss due to death, divorce, addiction, incarceration, deportation, or military deployment. Fall sessions of Healing Hearts will be starting soon! There are three locations and times this fall. Pick one or more that work for you!

Menomonee Falls | Good Shepherd Catholic Church | 6-week session | starts Thursday, Nov. 9

Children will find care, support, and healing through age-based peer support groups while parents/guardians participate in a peer support group specifically for them.

Ski Club!

Packets of information are available for pick up in the athletic office. Join us on Friday nights for ski club trips to local ski hills and three destination trips. Enrollment is limited to 48 this year, sign up early if interested. There is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, November 14 in the library at 7 pm.
