The “Promote a Promise” Club is making a difference in the lives of patients receiving treatment at Rogers Behavioral Health.
The heartwarming effort they put into Rogers Behavioral Health Foundation’s annual “Give for a Better Day” Holiday Gift Drive will spread warmth and support to those navigating mental health challenges during this Holiday season.

She's the First is hosting a Miracle Minute donation fundraiser TODAY during advisory at 10:45 am.
All money collected will be donated to Plan International USA. This organization has been supporting girls education and health care for over 85 years. Donations fund dozens of projects spanning four continents.
KM's next Campus play- CLUE (high school edition)- is coming to the stage in March and the mystery begins in January!

This brunch, provided by KM culinary students, will bring KM staff and area First Responders together to celebrate the holiday season and our long history of partnership.
When: TOMMOROW, December 19th from 10 am - 1 pm.
Where: KM High School Culinary Kitchen B20 (hallway).
Culinary students will select recipes, budget their meal plan, prepare dishes, and serve brunch at stations. Mr. Loebel's KMAP students will deliver food to dispatchers. KM Perform students will be creating portraits to decorate the hallway and band students will be playing holiday music throughout the luncheon. Fundraising will support the food purchased to prepare the meal.

Students: If you are present at school and not feeling well and/or feel you need to go home, you MUST report to the health room to be seen and cleared to leave by the health room staff.
Parents: The district Nurse is available to discuss health services, preventative health care, medication, and any other health concerns you have regarding your student. You can reach the District Nurse by calling 262-968-6200 x8432. Our Health Room Assistant can be reached at 262-968-6200 x4117. Also, if a student has reached out to you that they are not well or need to go home please ask them to report to the health room. The health room staff may contact you or the student’s designated emergency contact to discuss as needed. Note - students will be sent home from school with the following guidelines:
A fever of 100.4 (oral). Students must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school.
Episodes of vomiting or diarrhea. Students must stay home from school for 24 hours from the last episode.
Rash if accompanied by fever/sore throat or behavioral changes.
Other conditions, not previously listed, at the discretion of the KMHS staff.
Parent portal absence requests to leave early, not related to an appointment, cannot be processed until the student is seen in the health room.
HS^2 is continuing a tradition started last year: Community Engagement Day - on Thursday, December 21st, which is the last day before winter break.
On Community Engagement Day, all HS^2 students and staff will be participating in community events whether it's volunteering at a shelter, making or collecting items to donate, helping out at the elementary and middle schools, and much more. The purpose of this is for students to have an opportunity to be engaged citizens within the community both inside and outside of HS^2, which is a disposition on KM’s Graduate Profile!
To make this day as successful as possible, HS^2 is in need of some items to help them really make a difference! If you have any of the following items and would like to donate, please send them to school with your student(s) or drop them off at the High School Campus Main Office any time before December 21:

High school students are invited to explore academics and college life at UW–Madison.
Each summer, Badger Precollege offers a variety of opportunities designed to inspire high school students in course subjects ranging from art, law, and psychology to forensics, health sciences, and computer science.
Badger Precollege programs also help students prepare for college success, experience life as a Badger, and meet new friends — all while living and learning at the top-ranked UW–Madison.
They are now accepting applications for summer 2024! Please share the programs listed below with any student who is interested in learning more about college life and wants to spend their summer learning and making lifelong friends. Need-based scholarships are available for most programs.

Winter skills registration is now open for all KM Lacrosse players who want to hone their skills and be ready for the spring season. It’s also a great way to try the sport for the first time.
Open to all boys and girls - youth through high school.
Games will be played on 6 Monday nights 7:00-7:45 and 7:45-8:30 in the east and middle gyms
