It's computer science week and Natalie and Ella are here to share what is planned each day to celebrate this week!
This brunch, provided by KM culinary students, will bring KM staff and area First Responders together to celebrate the holiday season and our long history of partnership.
When: December 19th from 10 am - 1 pm.
Where: KM High School Culinary Kitchen B20 (hallway).
Culinary students will select recipes, budget their meal plan, prepare dishes, and serve brunch at stations. KM Perform students will also be creating portraits to decorate the hallway and band students will be playing holiday music throughout the luncheon. Fundraising will support the food purchased to prepare the meal.

Jill K. Underly, Wisconsin’s State Superintendent of Public Instruction has declared the week of December 4-10, 2023, to be the Computer Science Education Week throughout the State of Wisconsin for many great reasons which can be found here!
In celebration of that proclamation, our Computer Science Educators, Kevin Buntman and Ben Logan have a series of fun activities planned for the week:
Monday: Voting begins for the best CS project on KMHSCS.com with free Culver's scoops given as a prize to the winning class!
Tuesday: A live activity will be hosted on KMHSCS.com and a prize will be given to the first participant to complete the activity!
Wednesday: A 50-spot advisory hour in the West Commons has been created for students to code during that advisory. SIGN UP NOW! Chick-fil-A is bringing sandwiches for those who sign up.
Thursday: A live activity will be hosted on KMHSCS.com with a prize given to the first to complete the activity.
Friday: Mr. Bestor's Trivia will be Computer Science questions, and the winner of the best CS project (on KMHSCS.com) voting will be announced!
Breakfast is served from 7-7:20a in the snack shop. A variety of breakfast items are available including hot sandwiches and grab-and-go items. Prices range from ~$1.25-$3 per item.
For more than 15 years, Main Street Song & Dance Troupe has been a mainstay for some of the most talented performers between the ages of 12 to 18 in southeastern Wisconsin. We are very excited that there are 6 Kettle Moraine School District students in the cast of this year’s show “A Rock & Roll Christmas.”

This position is 4 days/week during the school year. Hours are 7:05-2:45… perfect to still have afternoon/evening time with your family. This position provides basic first aid to students, hands out daily medications, and notifies parents of illness or injury. No prior medical experience is needed. Distinguished Young Women of Wisconsin is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership, and talent in young women.
You must be a junior in high school to participate. Class of 2025 participants will attend a local program on January 21, 2024, or February 18, 2024, from 8-2 pm at Franklin High School and if selected to move forward, will continue to a week-long state program this summer at the Franklin Sabers Center. One Wisconsin Distinguished Young Women representative will be selected to continue to nationals the following summer.
