The Red Cross national blood supply has fallen by about 25% since early August. Right now, blood product distributions to hospitals are outpacing the number of blood donations coming in. We need your help - schedule a blood donation today.
Next Friday, the Student Senate is hosting the fall Blood Drive.

The Kettle Newspaper Club provides students with a platform to write for the high school community, as well as gain experience in the fields of journalism and news reporting. Students will have the opportunity to write on a variety of events, both globally and locally to Kettle Moraine.
The club will meet the 1st and 3rd week of every month on Thursdays during advisory. Meetings will take place in Ms. Klima’s room (D27). Throughout the year, club members will have their work in The Kettle Newspaper published digitally in fall, winter, and spring. Project Pitch It is a TV program that features 24 local Wisconsin entrepreneurs pitching their products, start-up businesses, or established businesses to 5 local Wisconsin business leaders and moguls airs on WISN-TV 12 in southeastern Wisconsin and on TV stations in Madison, La Crosse, Green Bay, and Wausau!
Students who appear on the show will receive cash prizes and mentoring from local Wisconsin leaders, in addition to TV exposure!

WNKM Girls Swimming hosted a dual against Arrowhead Thursday night and also celebrated the team’s Seniors including KM’s Samantha Mainz. Samantha, along with Junior Adrienne Prymas, Sophomores Anastasia Morrow and Sara Wiedoff, and Freshman Hailey Cousland and Taylor Safranski posted season-best times. The top three point scorers included Sara Wiedoff, Freshman Rowan Rossi-Weida, and Hailey Cousland.

The KMHS Boys Varsity Cross Country Team placed 2nd yesterday at the 19-team Mukwonago Invite.
Leading the way were Juniors Isaac Kirby in 5th, Ryan Montes de Oca in 8th, and Ryan Keller in 15th. Sophomores Carter Schroeder placed 19th and Graham Kelchen placed 25th.
The JV team also placed 2nd with Brady Lammert taking 6th, Conrad Dierks in 7th, William Fischer in 8th, Malachi Beyerlein in 13th, and Jack Behn in 16th.
The team tied for 3rd place at Regionals at Watertown Country Club with a score of 370. Congrats!

Avery Sallmann 9th place with a score of 90
Emily Gomez 12th place with a score of 92
Madeleine Reed 14th place with a score of 93
Sydney Quella 18th place with a score of 95
Anneke Barnett 32nd place with a score of 100
They advance to Sectionals at the Broadlands on Tuesday, October 3rd!
The Kettle Moraine Alpine Ski Team informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00 pm in room 533.
All returning athletes and interested athletes are strongly encouraged to attend. Virtual attendance will be available if unable to attend in person.
