KMMS DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

We would like to invite you to play during the first half of a high school basketball game with the Laser Pep Band on Friday, January 26th. This is an opportunity that you won’t want to miss! Pizza dinner will be provided and students will get the music before the event. Students will be released after halftime to either enjoy the game or go home. (The game is a boys game against Waukesha South).

Please complete the google form by Wednesday, January 24th at 3pm.

The schedule for the event is as follows:

5:30pm - Arrive and report to the band room (209)

5:45pm - Rehearsal for halftime performance

6:15pm - Pizza dinner provided for all students

6:45pm - Set-up in West gym

6:55pm - Perform during pregame and until after halftime. 

Approx. 8:15 pm - Performance completed and students dismissed after halftime

Our U14 team is still looking to add a few more players to their roster.  If you know of any U14 aged girls (born 2009/2010) looking to play, please have them email kmfastpitch1@gmail.com or register HERE

Ladies, do you love to create things in a new and exciting way? Are you excited to participate in an activity that allows you to move and learn new STEM skills? If you said yes, then join us for the  Laser Ladies of STEM event on February 1st from 6-8pm. If you've already signed up for the club, the link to RSVP is in your email. Scout Troop 49 and Venturing Crew 196 are looking for new members. Any KMMS student is eligible to join the Troop and students age 14 and older are eligible for Crew.

All of our programs will be getting new items this year, so it’s critical that everyone sign up before January 31st.

The youth boys and girls will be getting a much needed uniform upgrade. This includes not only new uniforms, but also a practice pinnie and shooter shirt in each pack. Sign up now and watch for details on attending a Try-On event in the near future to get a new uniform that fits properly. If you don’t sign up, you may miss information for the Try-On fitting event.

For those who are new to lacrosse, you of course will benefit from new items as well. The season begins early March and runs through early June with practices twice a week. Send us an email for more information: kettlemorainelacrosse@gmail.com

Calling all 8th grade girls!

If you are at all curious about what it takes to join the Laserettes Dance Team next season, please fill out the Google form below. This will add you to the list to receive information regarding next year: tryout information, general information, etc. Tryouts will not be until March/April for our competition team and June for our football season-only team. This only adds you to a list to receive information and nothing more. So it can't hurt!

8th Grade families!  KM offers five different high schools within the Kettle Moraine High School Campus.  The time is fast approaching to decide which school YOU will attend in 9th grade!  To get information about all of your options, visit the info nights for the different schools.

The National History Day team, where evidence matters, meets on Tuesdays after school in Room 603 until 4 pm. As usual, popcorn and hot chocolate will be served. 

The KM Forensics Speech Team, where students speak with conviction, meets on Wednesdays after school in Room 603 until 4 pm. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be served.

Learning lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors. All students without after-school activities on Thursdays and Fridays should be picked up by 3pm.
