Next week we will kick off our Light in the Darkness fundraiser to support our very own KMMS families and students who may suffer a loss or terminal illness of a family member. This fundraiser is held in support of National Children’s Grief Awareness Day, which is observed next week Thursday. Starting Monday, November 18th, all Laser Hour teachers will receive a donation box made by our student ambassadors, to engage in a friendly grade level Laser Hour competition. The Laser Hour with the most donations in each house, including Create, will win a mystery prize. Our goal is to raise $500, which will be used to provide items like flowers, gift cards, food, or anything else to help families through their journey of grief.
