Light in the Darkness Fundraiser |
|

LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS FUNDRAISER
Tomorrow, KMMS will recognize National Children’s Grief Awareness Day, a day dedicated to supporting and remembering students who have experienced the death of a loved one. Grieving students often feel alone in their journey, and it’s important to remind them they are not forgotten. Did you know that one in five students will experience the loss of someone close to them before they graduate high school?
Please take part in our Light in the Darkness Fundraiser to help support KMMS students and families facing loss. And don’t forget to wear blue tomorrow as a visible sign of care and support for those who are grieving.
We also have one final activity to show our support. During lunch tomorrow, you’ll have the opportunity to write a letter in memory of someone you’ve lost and place it in the sealed box near the Wall of Support. Writing a letter to someone you love and miss can be a meaningful way to reflect, heal, and honor their memory. |
