KMMS All School Assembly Next Tuesday

At the end of the day on Tuesday before Thanksgiving break, we will have an assembly at KMMS.
There will be a Dodge Ball Tournament between the grades. We need at least 25 students from each grade/house to complete the teams. During the intermission we’ll have a Turkey Trot race. We’d like 6 students to participate in the “Trot.” All turkey trotters will be given a turkey headband to wear during the race and take home afterward. Please ask your house teachers about where you can find the Google Form so that you can sign up to participate at the assembly. We would like all 8th graders to wear black, 7th graders to wear blue, 6th to wear gold and Create to wear white.

KMMS Musical Crew

Applications for the Matilda Jr crew are now open. There are opportunities for both backstage crew as well as artistic crew. If you are interested in participating you can apply via the Google form found in the daily announcements doc. In addition to the form, all students must pick up a student recommendation form from the choir room (rm 111). Students will ask a teacher to fill out the recommendation form on their behalf. Applications will close on December 12. See Ms. Milton in with any questions.

Apply for stage crew here!

Light in the Darkness Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who showed support for those experiencing grief in their lives. Today is the last day to donate to the Light in the Darkness Fundraiser. Please remember that we are always here for you on your journey after a loss.

A special thank you to all of the Student Ambassadors who helped organize this week’s activities to honor those who are grieving or facing extreme hardships. We will announce the winning Structured Study classes next week!

IT'S PLINKO TIME!

Let’s celebrate good attendance, after all, the connection between attendance and student success is HUGE! Students who attend school regularly are more likely to succeed academically.

So, just like last month, we randomly drew 20 student names from those who have either maintained 95% attendance or shown improved attendance from the previous month.

If your name is called, please come down to the cafeteria to play Plinko and win an awesome prize. Good luck, and keep showing up!
