Matilda Musical Crew

Applications for the Matilda Jr crew are now open. There are opportunities for both backstage crew as well as artistic crew. If you are interested in participating you can apply via the Google form found in the daily announcements doc. In addition to the form, all students must pick up a student recommendation form from the choir room (rm 111). Students will ask a teacher to fill out the recommendation form on their behalf. Applications will close on December 12. See Ms. Milton in with any questions.

Apply for stage crew here!

Find the student recommendation form here

Tomorrow's Assembly

At the end of the day tomorrow, we will have an assembly at KMMS. There will be a Dodge Ball Tournament between the grades. During the intermission we’ll have a Turkey Trot race. All turkey trotters will be given a turkey hat and gloves to wear during the race and take home afterward.

We need several more Create and 8th grade students to fill the teams.

We would like all 8th graders to wear black, 7th graders to wear blue, 6th to wear gold and Create to wear white. See you there!!

Last Call for Golf

We are excited to say that team formations for the Jr Laser Golf Team are almost complete, and indoor practices start the first week of January!  While we have record participation of 72 golfers, we came up just a few golfers short of full teams at every grade level.  If you have a 6th-8th grade son who is interested, please email jason@westernlakes.com for more information.

6th grade boys – need 1
7th grade boys – need 1-2
8th grade boys – need 2-3

KM Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays Team

The KM Trap, Skeet, and Sporting clays team will be holding their information and sign up meeting on December 2nd and December 10.  You only need to attend one of the meetings.  The meeting will be in the Laser Room from 6-8 at KMHS. All returning athletes need to be there by 6 as well.  After the presentation there will be time for questions and completing the required paperwork.  Please make sure to bring a parent to assist with all the documents that need to be completed.  The team is coming off a great year. At state KM took 3rd for Highest over all (by combining all scores from every event against 95 other teams) in Wisconsin. The IE team took 1st in Skeet and Sporting Clays, JV took 1st in Sporting Clays, and Varsity took 2nd for Sporting Clays. Many team members came home with over 20 individual awards.   The coaches are hoping for an even higher number this year.  We have titles to defend.  Please come and learn about the sport of dusting clays!

Any questions can be directed to head Coach Nicole Burdick via email at nicole_b321@yahoo.com or 414-587-2734.  Thank you!
