Lines to prepare:
Warbucks: I was in Tiffany’s yesterday and picked this up for you.
Annie: For me? Gee, thanks, Mr. Warbucks.
(opens up package and looks at the gift. She is clearly unhappy with it, but pretends to like it)
Oh. Gee.
Warbucks: It’s a silver locket, Annie. I noticed that old, broken one you always wear, and I said to myself, “I’m going to get that kid a nice new locket.” Here, we’ll just take this old one off and…..
Annie: No! I don’t want a new one!
Warbucks: Annie, what is it?
Annie: This locket, my Mom and Dad left it...when they left me at the Orphanage. And a note, too. They’re coming back for me. I know I’m real lucky, being here with you for Christmas. But...the one thing I want in all the world...is to find my mother and father. And to be like other kids, with folks of my own.

KMMS Student Senate is sponsoring a supply drive for Children's Hospital, led by 8th grader Iris Fouts! The purpose of this drive is to collect books, arts & crafts, and other activities for patients and family members of patients who are in isolation in the ICU at Children's. Here's what Iris had to say about it:
"I was inspired to start this supply drive because I have had the experience of being in the hospital over the holidays while my brother was receiving treatment in the ICU. Being in isolation can be hard for siblings because we aren't allowed to do things that kids outside of isolation can do. Because of this, I want to help make the holidays a little brighter for people in isolation."
Donated items must be NEW, less than 12" tall, and not homemade. To make sure your item is acceptable, check out THIS list of requirements.
If you wish to donate an item, please place it in one of the labeled bins in the front hallway or the front office. The deadline to donate your items is Friday, December 8.

The craft fair is free and runs from 8:30am-1pm with about 50 crafters participating. This is a great opportunity to get unique, quality, homemade gifts and decorations for the holiday season! KMSD music groups will be playing holiday music throughout the morning and the KMHS band plans activities for kids. Santa and his elves will also be there for photos!
