DECEMBER’S THEME IS “GIVING BACK”

Family Promise is a nonprofit charity that works to prevent and end family homelessness. Last year, Family Promise had more than 200,000 volunteers in 43 states, including some right here in the KM school district! Family Promise works with local volunteers to provide food and shelter for homeless families. They also work with those families to find permanent housing and employment, and even help with bills and career development.

The UW Badger women’s volleyball team is advancing to the Final Four after defeating Oregon over the weekend! This Thursday, wear your Badger gear to show your support!

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO BE NEAR THE DEER!!!!

No, we aren't talking about hunting season. This EPIC raffle basket, coordinated by the Dousman Elementary PTO, includes court side seats at a Bucks game! All proceeds will be donated to Dousman Elementary in support of their annual Fun Run. Purchase a single raffle ticket for $25.00 (one entry) or five raffle tickets for $100 (five entries). Raffle includes: 4 - 2nd row Milwaukee Bucks tickets (Section 117, Row 2) to the game of your choice (excluding blocked games). The seats were graciously donated by former senator, Herb Kohl. The prize package also includes a basket of Milwaukee Bucks swag for a total value of $1200+. This package will provide priceless memories with your family! LASERETTES DANCE TEAM

Calling all 8th grade girls!

If you are at all curious about what it takes to join the Laserettes Dance Team next season, please fill out the Google form below. This will add you to the list to receive information regarding next year: tryout information, general information, etc. Tryouts will not be until March/April for our competition team and June for our football season-only team. This only adds you to a list to receive information and nothing more. So it can't hurt!

HIGH SCHOOL INFO NIGHTS

8th Grade families! KM offers five different high schools within the Kettle Moraine High School Campus. The time is fast approaching to decide which school YOU will attend in 9th grade! To get information about all of your options, visit the info nights for the different schools.

NATIONAL HISTORY DAY

The National History Day team, where evidence matters, meets on Tuesdays after school in Room 603 until 4 pm. As usual, popcorn and hot chocolate will be served.

KMMS FORENSICS SPEECH TEAM

The KM Forensics Speech Team, where students speak with conviction, meets on Wednesdays after school in Room 603 until 4 pm. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be served.

LEARNING LAB

Learning lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors. All students without after-school activities on Thursdays and Fridays should be picked up by 3pm.

The first dance of the year is coming up. The theme will be a "Winter Wonderland." The dance will be on Friday, January 5th in the old gym, from 6 to 8 pm. It costs $5, and you will have to bring your school ID.
