Dress Appropriately

Please remind your student(s) to dress appropriately. We have seen a lot of students come in wearing only sweatshirts or sweaters. There will be another fire drill this month and we want our students to be safe and warm.

KMMS Wrestling Team

This Saturday, the team will head to Waukesha North High School to participate in the Tim Poulson Invitational.  Come cheer on your middle school wrestling team as they compete for the team title at this weekend's tournament.

36th Annual Young Author's Art Book

Parents and students, please use this link to submit your work for the 36th edition of the online book: Art of Writing. The deadline is Monday, December 22, 11:59pm.

Ambassador Group Picture

Attention Student Ambassadors, please meet Mrs. Cowan in the front foyer promptly at 1:55PM today for a group picture. Please wear your Ambassador T-shirt. Teachers - please excuse the Ambassadors for the first few minutes of class.

Book Club

Do you like writing and reading? Do you enjoy talking about your favorite books with friends? Do you love to play strategy games?

If you said yes to any of these questions, consider joining Book Club! In this club, we focus on building our literary skills and connecting with our peers while also having fun and entertaining games to play each week. 

Our next meeting will be Thursday, December 18th at 2:15 in the library. This meeting is a Christmas event, so come for some holiday fun!

Reboot Your Chromebooks

Students!  Please be sure to reboot and update your Chromebooks at least weekly!  This is a simple process of restarting your device. 

Update and reboot helps with a number of issues that we have been experiencing such as Read180 and other online tools working slowly or failing.

Please remember to restart or reset your computers weekly!!!

Water bottles, jackets and shoes, OH MY! Please stop by the Lost and Found and claim what’s yours. For smaller items (jewelry, ear pods, etc.), please visit the front desk. All items will be donated after Monday, December 22nd.

KM Lacrosse Registration

Spring is around the corner! Let's get ready early.  Lacrosse is open to both girls and boys, youth and HS students. The season runs from March 10 through May 30, 2026.
Youth players will practice twice a week and games on selected weekends.
Register before 12/31/25 to get the early bird discount.

Matilda Musical Crew

Applications for the Matilda Jr crew are now open. There are opportunities for both backstage crew as well as artistic crew. If you are interested in participating you can apply via the Google form found in the daily announcements doc. In addition to the form, all students must pick up a student recommendation form from the choir room (rm 111). Students will ask a teacher to fill out the recommendation form on their behalf. Applications will close on December 12th. See Ms. Milton in with any questions.

ART CLUB!!!

Interested in joining the Art Club? Art club is a fun time to practice your craft, stretch your creativity and make some new connections. Any questions, see Mr. Langenecker in the art room. Meetings: January 6, 20, Feb. 3, 17, March 3, 17, April 7, 21, May 5, 19

LEARNING LAB!!!

The Learning Lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning Lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors. 

STEM

STEM FORWARD CLUB!!!

Today, the STEM Forward Club will have a "bonus" building session for anyone from STEM Forward who wants to build! Please contact Mrs. Olson for more information.

NATIONAL HISTORY CLUB

The National History Day club is a great way to make friends, and explore history through your own interests. If you are interested, or have any questions, you can ask Mr. Harrison. Meetings take place on Wednesdays in Mr. Harrison's room, 601, directly after school until 4:00.

LUNCH BUNCH

Love reading? Join us in the library on Fridays after lunch instead of heading to recess! Just grab a purple pass from the office, bring your favorite book, and enjoy some quiet reading time in the library.

STUDENT SENATE

The Student Senate meets in Mrs. McCaffery’s room from 2:45 - 4:00.
