Just a reminder that students need to be picked up after school unless they are staying for an organized activity (Ex: Learning Lab, Art Club, Stem Club, etc.).

We are seeing an increase in the number of students hanging out after school for extended periods of time unsupervised.

We will be running our December Fire Drill today around 12:05.  Please plan to have your coat/sweatshirt with you in your class at this time for the Drill.

We are looking for volunteers to help plan and execute some of our exciting events throughout the year.  This is a great way to get involved, meet new parents and give back to our KMMS Community!  Feel free to talk to a friend and sign up together!  We have room for anyone interested in helping!  Please review the available slots below and click here to see the sign up genius. Students: During our holiday break, the custodial staff will have time to do some extra cleaning in the locker hallways. Please remove any decorations that are on the outside of your locker before you leave for break. If you are interested in decorating a friend’s locker for their birthday, please stop at the office for an instruction sheet.

Do you like writing and reading? Do you enjoy talking about your favorite books with friends? Do you love to play strategy games?

If you said yes to any of these questions, consider joining Book Club! In this club, we focus on building our literary skills and connecting with our peers while also having fun and entertaining games to play each week. 

Our next meeting will be Thursday, December 18th at 2:15 in the library. This meeting is a Christmas event, so come for some holiday fun!

This is the last 3D Print Club meeting of the year! We meet in the library after school until 4pm. Don’t miss it!

Best Buddies meets TODAY from 2:45 - 3:30. Please meet in the 7 Inspire Area. Please see Mrs. Suvaka or Mrs. Daley with any questions. Hope to see you all there!

Spring is around the corner! Let's get ready early.  Lacrosse is open to both girls and boys, youth and HS students. The season runs from March 10 through May 30, 2026.
Youth players will practice twice a week and games on selected weekends.

ART CLUB!!!

LEARNING LAB!!!

The Learning Lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning Lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors. 

STEM FORWARD CLUB IS CANCELLED TODAY!!!!

Today is a bonus build day! Please join us after school until 3:30 (not 4).

NATIONAL HISTORY CLUB

The National History Day club is a great way to make friends, and explore history through your own interests. If you are interested, or have any questions, you can ask Mr. Harrison. Meetings take place on Wednesdays in Mr. Harrison's room, 601, directly after school until 4:00.

LUNCH BUNCH

Love reading? Join us in the library on Fridays after lunch instead of heading to recess! Just grab a purple pass from the office, bring your favorite book, and enjoy some quiet reading time in the library.

STUDENT SENATE

The Student Senate meets in Mrs. McCaffery’s room from 2:45 - 4:00.
