KMMS DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

DECEMBER 20, 2023 - Blue day

PLEASE STAND FOR THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

DECEMBER'S THEME IS "GIVING BACK."

In 1976, Milwaukee Bucks legend Jon McGlocklin and Bucks broadcaster Eddie Doucette launched the MACC Fund, which stands for Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer.  In the past 45 years, the MACC Fund has contributed more than $70 million to childhood cancer and blood disorder research.  The MACC Fund tries to make fundraising fun, and 75% of their money comes from special events like sports games.  The Bucks, Brewers, and Packers all contribute money each time their team makes a big play like a double or home run, a 3-pointer, or a sack or interception.

MATH TEAM

Attention Math Meet team! Just a reminder about the math club meeting tonight to prepare for the math meet on January 8th. Meetings are held in Mrs. Fritsch's room, 701, until 3:30.
