PLEASE STAND FOR THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. On Sunday, December 7, 1941 the Japanese launched a surprise attack against the U.S. Forces stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Though most of the survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor and those who served in World War II are no longer with us, we will always remember their courage and devotion to our country. They truly shaped America into what it would become over the next half century and beyond. Generations of Americans remain forever grateful to them for their unyielding love of country and sacrifice.
Students (and parents), please know that KMMS is required to perform monthly fire drills-even in the winter. While we always look for the "best weather day" for our drills, please make sure you (your child) come to school with weather-appropriate clothing so they have items to put on for our fire drills.
This is a reminder that those students attending the Art of Writing, Young Authors and Artists Conference at the Milwaukee Art Museum will meet right away, Monday morning, in the front hallway. Mr. Langenecker, Mrs. Aspan, and Mr. Harrison will be there to greet you. The buses will leave at 7:30 AM sharp, so you can be at the conference on time. Bring a notebook, pencils, and a water bottle. Computers are optional since there is no guarantee you will be able to connect to WiFi.

Attention KMMS Lasers!
We have incredible news to share! Our hard work and dedication at Kettle Moraine Middle School has paid off in a big way. Our Wisconsin state report card just came out in November, and we SIGNIFICANTLY EXCEEDED expectations!
Every single one of you should be incredibly proud. Your commitment to learning, your passion, and your teamwork have made an amazing difference. You've shown what it means to be true Lasers - and you make our school one of the best middle schools in the state.
To celebrate our outstanding achievement, we're planning an AWESOME field trip to the movies on December 20th - the last day of school before winter break. We'll be watching the brand new Disney film "Mufasa" on its release date, and get this - we have FOUR entire theatres just for our school!
That day, we'll run a condensed schedule and then head to the movies for a well-deserved celebration. Parents will be receiving an email today with all the additional details.
Congratulations, Lasers! You've earned this celebration!
