We want to take a step back in time to three weeks ago, which was National School Psychologists Week. We would be remiss to not take a moment to recognize and celebrate our own School Psychologist, Mrs. Allison Beyerl. Mrs. Beyerl plays a vital role in our school by collaborating with families, staff, and the wider school community to help our students be ready to learn. The theme of this year’s School Psych week is “Spark Discovery.” Mrs. Beyerl works tirelessly to help students discover and work on their own talents and abilities to contribute to getting a great education. Those who know Mrs. Beyerl know her humor, her compassion, but also her no nonsense approach. When talking to Mrs. Beyerl, you may not get the advice you always want, but you’re definitely going to get the advice you need to be ready to learn. You are the best, thank you, Mrs. Beyerl!
Students (and parents), please know that KMMS is required to perform monthly fire drills-even in the winter. While we always look for the "best weather day" for our drills, please make sure you (your child) come to school with weather-appropriate clothing so they have items to put on for our fire drills.
This is a reminder that those students attending the Art of Writing, Young Authors and Artists Conference at the Milwaukee Art Museum are meeting right now in the front hallway. Mr. Langenecker, Mrs. Aspan, and Mr. Harrison are there to greet you. The buses are leaving at 7:30 AM. Bring a notebook, pencils, and a water bottle. Computers are optional since there is no guarantee you will be able to connect to WiFi.
Please consider helping some of our KM families in need this holiday season by signing up HERE.
