CongratulatIons to Mrs. Milton, who is the recipient of Civic Music Milwaukee's Emerging Music Educator of the Year Award. This award is presented to a teacher in their first 5 years in the classroom for their outstanding work in the field of music education.
Although we all recognize Emma's amazing contributions to KM daily, what an honor for her to be recognized by an esteemed community organization as well! Congratulations, Mrs. Milton, from your KM Music and Administrative teams; we are so grateful to have you in Kettle Moraine!
Students…Saturday (February 15th) is National School Resource Officer Day. We want to recognize and thank Deputy Cattani for all she does to help keep us safe. Not all schools are fortunate enough to have a Resource Officer in their school, or even in their district. We are blessed and grateful that she is here. Best Buddies is looking forward to its next event on Wednesday, February 19th, from 2:45 - 3:30. We will be having another Open Gym, so plan to meet in the little/old gym. Get ready for lots of laughs & fun!
There is an upcoming Dine for Dollars (D4D) fundraiser at Clean Juice, running from February 24 to February 28.
Families are welcome to participate at any time that works best for them during that week. The most important thing is to mention the fundraiser or enter the code KMDousman when ordering online.
Clean Juice is owned by a Kettle Moraine family and they offer a great selection of healthy and delicious foods and drinks.
There's a new club called Jesus Club, and it will be focused on growing closer to Jesus and what he can do for you. It will just be a fun time and everyone is welcome. Jesus Club will begin on Monday, February 17th and will run every other week. Jesus Club will meet in Mrs. Weske’s room, room 508, from 2:45-3:45pm. This club will be run by 8th grade students.
Students, please report to the health room before contacting your parents/guardians. The health room staff is here to help you and can contact parents/guardians when needed.
Friday night recreational co-ed volleyball league registration is now open. Join us March - May at the high school, grades 4-8 are invited. Learn skills, play matches, and have fun working with high school players. Registration deadline is February 19. Sign up online at https://kmsd.revtrak.net/rwcommunityeducation/
The Infinite Campus course registration portal window is open until Friday, February 14th at 3pm.

Are you interested in playing high school football? There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 19th at 7:30pm at the high school auditorium.
In this virtual class, students will learn essential fundamentals to build a strong base in the Spanish language. Months of the year, telling time, present tense verb conjugations and sentence structure are just a few of the topics covered!

Love reading? Join us in the library on Fridays after lunch instead of heading to recess! Just grab a purple pass from the office, bring your favorite book, and enjoy some quiet reading time in the library.
