Jacob Bailey Earns a 1 at WSMA State Solo and Ensemble!
A big shoutout to 8th grader Jacob B! Jacob earned a "1" rating on his trumpet solo at the WSMA State Solo and Ensemble Event at UW-Whitewater this past weekend. After securing a "1-Star" at the district level to qualify, he earned the highest ranking at the state level. Achieving this level of success in middle school is incredibly rare. Thank you Jacob for representing KMMS with your musical abilities, well done!

Vera G, a Level 9 gymnast from Midwest Twisters has put together an incredible competitive season, proving that dedication, discipline, and perseverance lead to big achievements. After a strong performance at the Wisconsin State Championships, she advanced to Regionals, where she continued to shine against some of the top gymnasts in the area. Her success there earned her a coveted spot at the Level 9 Western Championships in Boise.
Reaching Westerns is a major accomplishment and reflects countless hours of training, determination, and passion for the sport. Competing on this stage means she will represent not only her gym, but also her state and region against some of the best Level 9 athletes in the country. Her journey from State to Regionals to Westerns is something to be proud of, and it highlights the hard work and talent that continue to make Midwest Twisters, school and her community proud!
Congrats - you got this!

Thank you to our 8th grade orchestra students for providing a lovely afternoon concert to residents of Three Pillars in Dousman on Friday, April 17. The students performed meticulously, featuring incredible showmanship from our low string (cello and bass) sections in particular. Residents enjoyed having the performance in their own home, and those who have mobility and accessibility challenges were especially thrilled to host a live orchestra performance! Thank you, students, for providing this service to our community!

The Kettle Moraine Youth Volleyball Committee is excited to announce that assessments for the Fall 2026 season will be held in May! Boys and girls entering grades 5-8 in the fall of 2026 are eligible to participate in the league. While these are not “try outs” in the traditional sense as each child will have a spot, rather they will be assessments on skill level to determine which team (A, B, or C) your child will be placed on. Practices are held twice per week August-October with league play on the weekends. Enrollment is limited.
Dates: May 12th, 14th and 15th
Incoming 5th and 6th grade from 6pm until 7pm at KMHS West Gym
Incoming 7th and 8th grade from 7:30pm until 9pm at KMHS West Gym
The first two dates are required with the third date highly encouraged.
Our goal is to create a positive experience giving athletes multiple opportunities to showcase their skills without the stress of a single assessment day.
