The Laser Locker is having a year-end clearance sale happening now through May 28th.  Great deals on selected sweatshirts and t-shirts plus some other great finds!

Best Buddies is gearing up for the last event of the year, on Wednesday, May 20th from 2:45 - 3:30. We will meet in the 7th Grade Inspire Open Area before heading outside to play some kickball. Please wear your Best Buddies t-shirt so we can take a group picture! Reach out to Mrs. Suvaka or Mrs. Daley with any questions!  

Students entering grades 6-8 in the Fall of 2026 are welcome to join our Jr. Laser Dance Team.  Practices will be twice per week July - October with performances on Saturday mornings at youth football games.  Sign up today online at https://kmsd.revtrak.net/rwcommunityeducation/

ALL library books are due back in the library... unless you have made an exception with Mrs. Ottenad or Mrs. Akers.

Please be sure to check your backpacks, your lockers, your family cars, your bookshelves at home, and check your lockers again. Fines will be assessed on Friday for any books not returned to the library. 

There will be no more book checkouts for this year! Students, you may need to look for a book to read from your house or your classroom libraries. 

ALSO. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN YOUR CLASSROOM BOOKS to the library ... be sure to give those books back to your teachers. 

AND don't forget... e books, audio books, and magazines are available through SORA which you can find and log into though the  KMMS library homepage.  See your teachers, Mrs. Akers or Mrs. Ottenad if you need assistance in using SORA. 

This is a great way to read throughout the summer or listen to books on road trips! 

KMMS’ Book Club is hosting a book drive from May 11-22! We are looking for donations of old books, magazines and DVDs.  All donations should be mold-free, usable, and odor-free. Bins will be set up for donations in the cafeteria and front hall starting Monday, May 11, and the collection will be donated to the Milwaukee Public Library Foundation. If you have any questions about donations, feel free to contact Sofia K at kliesof@kmsd.edu!

The Kettle Moraine Youth Volleyball Committee is excited to announce that assessments for the Fall 2026 season will be held in May!  Boys and girls entering grades 5-8 in the fall of 2026 are eligible to participate in the league. While these are not “try outs” in the traditional sense as each child will have a spot, rather they will be assessments on skill level to determine which team (A, B, or C) your child will be placed on. Practices are held twice per week August-October with league play on the weekends. Enrollment is limited. 

Dates: May 14th and 15th

        Incoming 5th and 6th grade from 6pm until 7pm at KMHS West Gym
        Incoming 7th and 8th grade from 7:30pm until 9pm at KMHS West Gym

 The first two dates are required with the third date highly encouraged.

Our goal is to create a positive experience giving athletes multiple opportunities to showcase their skills without the stress of a single assessment day. BOYS SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMPS
