We hear a lot about mental health problems and concerns, but what about positive mental health?  When we have positive mental health, we are better able to cope with the stresses of everyday life, succeed at school, and positively impact the lives of others.  People with positive mental health tend to sleep better and are more engaged when having a conversation or interaction with friends and family.  What are you doing to positively impact your mental health?  Exercise, counseling, journaling, music, and art are all things shown to help reduce anxiety and promote positive mental health.  

Good luck to our 7th grade track team as they compete in Waukesha tonight. According to Usain Bolt, “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in determination.”

The Health Room is very low on ice packs! Please check in your locker, backpacks and home and return any ice packs. Thank you.

Please collect your Albrecht's Sentry receipts to support Kettle Moraine Middle School PTO!

Please send in your Albrecht's Sentry receipts throughout the rest of the year. Albrecht's Sentry will give back 1% of receipt totals collected. Receipts can be dropped off in the front office in the designated collection container. This is a quick and easy way to support KMMS PTO. Thank you to Albrecht's Sentry for supporting our community!

Note: Receipts cannot be older than 6 months to be eligible for the round up.

Learning lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors.

Time to celebrate the end of another successful school year! All KMMS families and current 5th Grade KM families are invited to the KMMS PTO second annual Summer Kick Off Bash where there will be concessions, kickball, yard games, a bounce house and a silent auction with music provided by DJ Otto. NEW THIS YEAR - Take a turn at dunking an 8th grader in our Dunk Tank!

In order to make this a successful community event, we need your help!  Please consider signing up for a volunteer slot (most are only 1/2 hour!) and then hang out at the Bash with your family and friends for the remainder of the event. Here is the link for the sign up genius.

The KMHS Varsity Dance Team Tryouts are coming up quickly! The Football Season Team tryouts will be May 11th from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. Below is the link to the tryout registration as well as get more information about how to prepare for tryouts!

KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th! This capstone project is a cornerstone of Global's learning. Students get the opportunity to build a community event to benefit a local organization. 100% of the proceeds from this event (from vendor fees, donations, food truck partnerships, etc.) will be donated to our friends at the Hunger Task Force. The market will start at 9:00am and end at 12:00pm in the KM high school parking lot. Join us to shop all of these wonderful products!
