THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

flag

PLEASE STAND FOR THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Good morning, everyone.

Today we'd like to take a moment to recognize two very special members of our school community: Nurse Kari and Miss Regina.  It is School Nurse Appreciation Day!

Every day, Nurse Kari and Nurse Regina ensure we are all healthy, safe, and ready to learn. Whether it's administering medications, tending to injuries, providing comfort during illness, or offering crucial health education, their expertise is invaluable to our school.

What truly sets Nurse Kari and Miss Regina apart is not just their medical knowledge, but their compassionate approach to caring for each and every one of us. Our Health room is a place of kindness and understanding.

We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to our wellbeing and for creating a supportive environment.  Their calming presence and helpful personalities make a difference in our school.

So, the next time you see Nurse Kari or Miss Regina in the hallway, please take a moment to say thank you. They truly are healthcare heroes right here in our middle school.

Thank you, Nurse Kari and Miss Regina, for everything you do!

COMMUNITY FISCAL PLANNING LISTENING SESSIONS!!!

We will be conducting listening sessions for the board to hear from community members regarding Scenario IIA for addressing the long-term stability of the district. This is a great opportunity for our community to better understand how closing one elementary school, restructuring our 4K-(4 or 5) district boundaries, and making changes to middle school and high school operations, will impact families. This also provides a forum for our community to inform the decision making process and learn more about each of our elementary schools. For more information on the fiscal planning process, please visit kmsd.edu/fiscal-planning.
