Keegan L is up for Journal Sentinel Athlete of the Week now through Saturday at 3 PM. Keegan scored 38 individual points to help KMHS Girls Track win Friday’s home invite by winning the 100m hurdles, high jump, 300m hurdles with a runner-up finish in the long jump.

Today is a special day as we take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate our incredible school nurses. Nurse Kari and Nurse Regina's dedication, care, and support make such a difference in our school community every day, ensuring our well-being and health are a top priority.

Let's take a moment today to thank them for their hard work, compassion, and commitment to keeping us safe and healthy. Whether it's a scraped knee, a headache, or just needing someone to talk to, our school nurses are always there for us with a smile and a caring heart. They do so much behind the scenes that often others are not aware of all they do.

So, Nurse Kari and Nurse Regina, thank you for everything you do! Your impact doesn't go unnoticed, and we're incredibly grateful for you.

Best of luck to our girls and boys track team that will be competing tonight and tomorrow in Mukwonago for their relay meet. Jesse Owens said, "Find the good. It's all around you. Find it, showcase it and you'll start believing it."  Go Lasers!

Please attend the KM Music Parents Association meeting on Monday May 13th at 7:00pm at KMHS in the Perform Community Room (Room B21).  We'll be reviewing grant requests and previewing the schedule of upcoming music concerts.  We're also looking for parent support for the upcoming 2024-25 school year to help with social media/communications and financial/treasurer.  Join us to learn more!  All parents/guardians of music students are welcome to participate. Students - Whether you are walking home, getting picked up or riding your bike, ALWAYS cross at the marked crosswalk. This is where adults are stationed to help you cross Ottawa Ave safely.  Please remember to also use the sidewalk after you have crossed the street.

Drivers - Please be patient as we close out the school year and battle the congestion and increased traffic due to the Bridge work on Hwy 18.  We are all looking forward to this project being completed...hopefully before the end of the school year!

Please remind your student to use the crosswalk and sidewalks.   Please be alert and 
watch for pedestrians and stop for people in crosswalks.

Learning lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors.

Time to celebrate the end of another successful school year! All KMMS families and current 5th Grade KM families are invited to the KMMS PTO second annual Summer Kick Off Bash where there will be concessions, kickball, yard games, a bounce house and a silent auction with music provided by DJ Otto. NEW THIS YEAR - Take a turn at dunking an 8th grader in our Dunk Tank!

In order to make this a successful community event, we need your help!  Please consider signing up for a volunteer slot (most are only 1/2 hour!) and then hang out at the Bash with your family and friends for the remainder of the event. Here is the link for the sign up genius.

The KMHS Varsity Dance Team Tryouts are coming up quickly! The Football Season Team tryouts will be May 11th from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. Below is the link to the tryout registration as well as get more information about how to prepare for tryouts!

The last Coding Club meeting is May 21.

KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th! This capstone project is a cornerstone of Global's learning. Students get the opportunity to build a community event to benefit a local organization. 100% of the proceeds from this event (from vendor fees, donations, food truck partnerships, etc.) will be donated to our friends at the Hunger Task Force. The market will start at 9:00am and end at 12:00pm in the KM high school parking lot. Join us to shop all of these wonderful products! Interested in being part of the KM Jr. Laser Dance Team for next school year?  Students entering grades 6-8 will practice twice per week beginning in July and going through October.   We will perform Saturday mornings at the local youth football games.  Sign up today at https://kmsd.revtrak.net/rwcommunityeducation/  Anyone who may be interested is welcome to attend an open gym to try it on Monday, June 3 from 6-8 at KM Middle School.
