Attention parents! Kettle Moraine Music Parents is once again hosting the Homecoming Chili/Mac N Cheese Dinner on September 27th from 4pm - 7pm at the KM High School cafeteria. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and 100% of the proceeds directly support music programs in KMSD. We need your help to make this year's event successful. BEST BUDDIES
Kettle Moraine Middle School is excited to host another year of Best Buddies at the Middle School! The Best Buddies’ Friendship Programs offer opportunities for students with and without disabilities to come together and build meaningful connections while creating a more inclusive school community. Join us for our kickoff party on Wednesday, September 24th from 2:45-3:30 in the 7 Inspire House Open Area. Please contact Mrs. Daley in 7th grade with any questions. NATIONAL HISTORY DAY
The first National History Day meeting of the year will be next Wednesday, September 17th. The National History Day club is a great way to make friends, and explore history through your own interests. If you are interested, or have any questions, you can ask Mr. Harrison. Meetings will take place in Mr. Harrison's room, 601, directly after school until 4:00.

BLESSINGS IN A BASKET OFFERED AT KMMS
Kettle Moraine Middle School is a proud partner of a non-profit organization called Blessings in a Backpack. Through this partnership, your child is eligible to be a recipient of the Blessings in a Backpack program. This program is currently in all of the Kettle Moraine Elementary schools.
The program is designed to provide non-perishable food every Friday to children that would benefit from supplemental nourishment over the weekend. The program runs the full school year and there is no cost to participate. If you choose to participate, your child will receive a bag of non-perishable food every Friday which will be distributed in a discreet and caring manner. This will begin Friday, September 19th.

CROSS COUNTRY
Do you love to run? Do you play a sport that runs? Then cross country is for you! First practice is next week Tues. Sept 16 in room 605. Please sign up through the Community Education page. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Fritsch or Mrs. Page!

STEM FORWARD CLUB
Want to design, create, and compete? Join the STEM Forward Club with Mrs. Olson! The first meeting is after school on Tuesday, September 16th in the Computer Science room. Bring a team of four or just bring yourself—we’ll help place you on a team. Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Be part of something big! Parents are welcome to stop in at any time during the meeting or as they pick up the students to learn about the club and how they can contribute.

Learning lab is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the library. All students not going to the Learning lab must have rides arriving prior to 3pm. Only those students may wait in the vestibule just inside the front doors.
