September 29 | 4-7 PM | Kettle Moraine High School Campus

Attention parents! Kettle Moraine Music Parents is once again hosting the Homecoming Chili/Mac & Cheese Dinner on September 29th from 4pm - 7pm at the KM High School cafeteria. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and 100% of the proceeds go directly back to supporting music programs in KMSD.  We need your help to make this year's event successful. Art club will begin on September 19th, next Tuesday after school until 4 o'clock. All are welcome and sign up is not required. Art club will meet every other Tuesday and the schedule of dates will be on Mr. Langenecker's door. 

Mark your calendar. The KM National History Day Team, where students dig deep to discover our rich past, will meet after school on Tuesday, September 19th. Come and learn what NHD is all about, learn about the projects you can create, and learn how you can research anything in human history. Anything.

Attention 8th grade students ~ The Explorers’ Club will start off the year with an 8th grade trip to Six Flags for an evening at Fright Fest. This is a fun trip that is very popular with our students. We will leave the Middle School after school on Friday October 13th, and return to the Middle School at approximately 11:45pm that evening. Parent chaperones are needed for this trip. Parent chaperone names and the student permission forms are due Thursday September 21st. You can get a permission slip from Mrs. Hoff, Ms. Ludeman, Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Gehrke or from the office. See Mrs. Hamilton with questions.

Shhhh. KM Forensics is coming. What is Forensics? For some adults, it's their worst nightmare. Why? Because Forensics is the practice of competitive speaking and they never practiced. Public speaking is a skill that will help you influence others and win friends. Join the award-winning KM Forensics Team.  Our first team meeting will be on Wednesday, September 20th.

Do you like to code, play games and provide feedback to others on their games? Join the Coding Club! We will meet right after school until 4:15pm every other Tuesday, opposite weeks that Art Club meets. Please see Mrs Olson for a link or use the one in the announcements. Our first meeting is Tuesday, September 26th - hope to see you there!

Picture make-up day is on October 11th.

Help make the Student Senate an active and productive organization in our school.  We are looking for a group of students who are interested in planning and developing FUN, camaraderie, and service at the Middle School.  

Student Senate will help plan some of the fun in our middle school like dances, staff/student competitions, recognitions and more. Come and join this fun group!

Student Senate will meet twice a month on alternating Mondays and Wednesdays after school in the 6Discover House Open area. First meeting will be on Wednesday, September 20th!

The Kettle Moraine School District is formulating a new strategic plan. As part of this process, we cordially invite you to join us for an opportunity to participate in a World Cafe to inform the district's strategic planning. During this two hour event, you will be answering and discussing four questions. We are offering an in person World Cafe (Saturday 9/23 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.) and a virtual World Cafe (Tuesday 9/26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.). Each table costs $300 and includes food. Cash bar.
Assemble your team (up to 8 people per table) and join us for this fun annual event. Proceeds benefit Kettle Moraine Athletics.

The top 3 teams will receive prizes! Additional prizes will be awarded for the best costume and table décor (arrive early to decorate your table). There will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and heads/tails game. $10 or 3 for $25 shout-out for a special person/event, or roast.
