When you receive a pass that allows you to leave school early, you MUST stop in the office to sign out of the building before you go to your car. You should not walk straight out without seeing one of the office staff.
The Lost and Found is located in the front entry hallway, near the front office. Check out the jackets and sweatshirts hanging on the wall and the water bottles, lunch boxes, etc inside the brown cabinet. We’re only a couple weeks into the school year, but we already have quite a few items in the Lost and Found. If you misplaced something, you just might find it there!
Friday, September 28th’s Varsity Soccer game is Youth Night and any youth players who wear their jersey/uniform will get free admission to the game.

Happy end of week 2! As we all start to really settle into our daily schedules, it's easy to forget the profound impact our actions can have on the people around us. Each one of you has the incredible power to make someone's day better, to brighten their world, and to create a more compassionate and caring community. There are some key thoughts on the importance of treating others well:
Kindness Matters: One of the most significant things you can do is to be kind. Kindness is a universal language that transcends barriers and makes the world a better place. Whether it's a smile, a kind word, or a simple act of assistance, small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
Empathy Is Key: Try to understand how others feel. Empathy allows you to connect with people on a deeper level. It's about listening actively and showing that you care about their thoughts and emotions.
Respect for Differences: We all come from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Embrace diversity and treat everyone with respect, regardless of their race, religion, gender, abilities, or any other characteristic. Our differences make the world richer and more interesting.
Stand Up Against Bullying: Bullying can have devastating effects on individuals. If you see someone being mistreated, stand up for them. Be an ally and support those who need it. Let an adult know. Together, we can create a safer and more inclusive environment.
The Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated. Imagine how you would feel in their shoes, and let that guide your actions. This simple principle can go a long way in promoting positive interactions.
Be a Good Listener: Sometimes, the greatest gift you can give someone is your undivided attention. Be a good listener when someone needs to talk. It shows that you value their thoughts and feelings.
Forgiveness: We all make mistakes. When someone apologizes sincerely, be willing to forgive. Holding onto grudges can be toxic, and forgiving allows both parties to move forward.
Lead by Example: Your actions speak louder than words. Be a role model for others by consistently treating everyone with kindness, respect, and fairness.
Small Acts, Big Impact: Don't underestimate the impact of your actions. A kind gesture can create a ripple effect, inspiring others to do the same and creating a more positive atmosphere.
Practice Self-Reflection: Take time to reflect on your own behavior. Are there areas where you can improve how you treat others? Self-awareness is a powerful tool for personal growth.
Remember, we are all on this journey in Middle School together, and the way we treat each other shapes our shared experiences. When you choose to treat others well, you not only make their lives better but also contribute to creating a more compassionate and welcoming school.
So, let's make a conscious effort to continue to be kind, empathetic, and respectful to everyone we encounter. Together, we can make our school and community a place where everyone feels valued and supported. We have had a great start! Let’s keep it going!
It’s a great day… to be a LASER!
