Attention 8th grade students ~ The Explorers’ Club will start off the year with an 8th grade trip to Six Flags for an evening at Fright Fest. Parent chaperones are needed for this trip. Parent chaperone names and the student permission forms are due Thursday September 21st. You can get a permission slip from Mrs. Hoff, Ms. Ludeman, Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Gehrke or from the office. See Mrs. Hamilton with questions.
The KM National History Day team will meet Wednesday, after school until 4 PM in Room 603. This year's theme is Turning Points in History. A turning point is more than just an important event that happened a long time ago. It is more than a new idea or a particular action taken by an individual. A turning point is an idea, event, or action that directly, or sometimes indirectly, causes change. As Gandhi once said, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world." This quote serves as a powerful reminder that we all have the ability to create positive change in our lives and communities. Start that change by joining the KM NHD Team. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be served.
