I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Welcome to the new school year! We are glad you all are here! This is an exciting time filled with new opportunities and experiences ahead of you. Middle School is a time for discovery-of who you are, what you are passionate about and how you can make a difference. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, try new things, make new friends, and most importantly, be yourself!
You have a whole community - teachers, staff, and students, ready to support you and learn along with you.
Let’s kick this year off together being kind, treating each other well, and ready to learn!
Let’s help get things off to a good start by following these lunchroom procedures.
Backpacks and Cell Phones: Backpacks and cell phones are not allowed in the cafeteria. Please leave them in your locker before coming to lunch. Keep your phone in your locker or in the pocket chart of your classroom. You will have more info on this from your teachers after announcements.
When Finished Eating: Raise your hand to throw away your garbage and stack your tray. Then you need to return to your table and wait for a lunchroom supervisor to indicate it is time to line up for either outside, or the gyms. That is when you can be dismissed to line up. Otherwise, you are to remain seated and not wander around.
Student ID # or Bring Your ID: Knowing your ID number or having your ID with you makes the check out lines go faster. It really slows things down when the cashiers have to look you up in Infinite Campus and it delays others from getting their food. So, please have your ID or ID number ready when checking out.
Stack Your Trays: Please stack your trays carefully and neatly.
Clean Up the Area Where You Ate: When you are finished eating, everyone is responsible for the area where they ate. Please throw all trash away, clean up any messes, and leave the table ready for the next lunch period. Thanks for doing your part in helping to keep our cafeteria clean.
Registration is open for the MS Cross Country Program at https://kmsd.revtrak.net/rwcommunityeducation/

Students - you are required to use the lock that was provided to you by the school. You are not allowed to use a lock from home. If a lock that is not issued by the school is found on your locker, it will be cut off. Your locker is district property and we can access them at any time. We have all the lock combinations in the office, so If you have forgotten your combination or need assistance, please see someone in the front office.
We are happy to help!
