Ladies, are you interested in all things STEM and want to participate in an all ladies activity? Laser Ladies of STEM is having its 3rd annual event this school year! This year we are starting by gathering 8th grade ladies who are interested in a leadership role or serving on a committee for the event. No experience necessary, just touch base with Mrs Olson via email or in person to sign up for our first meeting on Wednesday, September 18th. Once the 8th graders convene, 6th and 7th grade girls are welcome to sign up to attend this coveted event. In past years, we've had around 120 girls attend each event and we had a blast! We hope you can join us!

The program is designed to provide non-perishable food every Friday to children that would benefit from supplemental nourishment over the weekend. The program runs the full school year and there is no cost to participate. If you choose to participate, your child will receive a bag of non-perishable food every Friday which will be distributed in a discreet and caring manner. Food distribution will begin Friday, September 20th.

Let’s help get things off to a good start by following these lunchroom procedures.
Backpacks and Cell Phones: Backpacks and cell phones are not allowed in the cafeteria. Please leave them in your locker before coming to lunch. Keep your phone in your locker or in the pocket chart of your classroom. You will have more info on this from your teachers after announcements.
When Finished Eating: Raise your hand to throw away your garbage and stack your tray. Then you need to return to your table and wait for a lunchroom supervisor to indicate it is time to line up for either outside, or the gyms (but not back to your locker or wandering around the building). That is when you can be dismissed to line up. Otherwise, you are to remain seated and not wander around.
Student ID # or Bring Your ID: Knowing your ID number or having your ID with you makes the check out lines go faster. It really slows things down when the cashiers have to look you up in Infinite Campus and it delays others from getting their food. So, please have your ID or ID number ready when checking out.
Stack Your Trays: Please stack your trays carefully and neatly.
Clean Up the Area Where You Ate: When you are finished eating, everyone is responsible for the area where they ate. Please throw all trash away, clean up any messes, and leave the table ready for the next lunch period. Thanks for doing your part in helping to keep our cafeteria clean.
Outdoor/Gym Reminder: When you leave the cafeteria to go outside or to the gym, please do not bring any food or drinks with you. Wait until you are finished eating and drinking before you go outside or to the gym. If you have a lunchbox or water bottle, you may leave it on the benches outside or on the shelves between the two gyms.
