Hello KMMS Families,
We recently surveyed our students and are gathering results about anti-bullying practices at KMMS. We look forward to sharing results with you in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you may want to ask your student some of the questions they were surveyed about.
Students were asked to respond with agree or disagree to:
Students treat me with respect.
If I were bullied, I would feel comfortable talking to someone about it.
If I have a big problem, there is an adult at school I can talk to about it.
In addition, students were asked:
Who they would feel comfortable talking to
To list every adult at school they could go to if they had a big problem at school
Identify each reporting mechanism they would feel comfortable utilizing if necessary
Reporting options included:
The school counselor Google Form
Speak Up, Speak Out (SUSO)
Emailing a staff member
Requesting a counselor meeting
Talking directly to a trusted adult at school
Other - suggested by student survey taker
This pulse survey helps us evaluate our current practices, strengthen connections between students and trusted adults, and ensure every student knows how to and feels safe to ask for help. We look forward to sharing the results soon.
Thank you for your continued partnership in creating the best learning environment possible for all KMMS students.
Have a great weekend,
