Hello KMMS Families,
As October’s National Anti-Bullying Month comes to a close, we want to thank you for your continued partnership in creating a school where every student feels respected and supported.
We recently surveyed students about our school’s anti-bullying practices. You can view the Student Survey Report to see what we learned and how we’ll continue improving together. The survey includes:
Student responses to three key questions about respect, comfort reporting bullying, and trusted adults.
Comparison of positive response rates over the past three years.
The adults and reporting methods students trust most.
Discussion points from our Family Advisory Council and next steps for KMMS.
We also invite you to explore this Resource from Children’s Wisconsin, which offers practical tips for parents on how to support children who may experience bullying or are behaving like a bully.
Thank you for your ongoing collaboration and trust as we maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Have a great weekend,
Matt Kitzerow Principal
Laura Lloyd Associate Principal

Create 6: Learning Day at Lapham Peak |
|
|
6 Create took their learning off campus to Lapham Peak State Park on Monday! They took a hike and took in the view from the top of the tower. While there, they wrote some poetry about their hike, had a book discussion with their book clubs and did a Halloween unit rate math activity. Students and staff had a great time and can't wait to go back during the winter months! |
