Hello KMMS families, 

As we wrap up 2024 and prepare for the winter break, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your incredible partnership throughout the start of this school year. Your commitment to working hand-in-hand with our teachers and staff has been instrumental in your children's success. The strength of our school community lies in these vital partnerships between home and school. Your engagement in your children's education - from supporting homework to participating in school events - has helped create a positive learning environment for our students.

As we look ahead to 2025, I'm filled with optimism while we strive for continual school improvement and continue to grow our rich learning opportunities for students. Whether your family is traveling or enjoying quiet time at home, I hope this break brings you joy, warmth, and wonderful memories together. We look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed and ready for new adventures in learning.

This year's VFW Patriot's Pen prompt was “My Voice in America’s Democracy.” KMMS had several entries. Three students from our building were chosen as finalists. MacKenzie B. earned First place. Second place went to Vanessa F., and Lucy G. took home Third place.

Dear KMMS Families,

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your incredible generosity and kindness during our Christmas Drive. Your donations have made a profound impact on the lives of our students and their families, bringing joy and hope during the holiday season.

Thanks to your support, we were able to provide extra care and cheer to those in need, reminding them that they are part of a compassionate and supportive community. 

On behalf of the entire KMMS team and the families you’ve touched, thank you for making this holiday season brighter. Together, we’ve shown the true spirit of giving and what it means to lift each other up.

Our lunch room staff and supervisors have noticed an uptick in students purchasing extra items (drinks, snacks and ice cream) from the cafeteria and handing items over to other students in the lunchroom. Please check your student's lunch account and have a discussion with them, if you notice these types of purchases happening frequently.

Please collect your Albrecht's Sentry receipts to support Kettle Moraine Middle School PTO!

Please send in your Albrecht's Sentry receipts throughout the rest of the year. Albrecht's Sentry will give back 1% of receipt totals collected. Receipts can be dropped off in the front office in the designated collection container. This is a quick and easy way to support KMMS PTO.
