Hello KMMS Families,
Happy spring break to all of our KMMS students, families, and staff! We hope this break helps everyone recharge for the final 8-week stretch of the school year.
The final stretch includes state testing, the 3rd Annual Spring Showcase of Learning, the Pre-ACT for our 8th graders, field trips, and more.
The rest of the school year is going to go quickly. We want all of our students to make the best use of this final term and prepare themselves for their next grade level, and for our 8th graders, high school!
Have a great weekend,
Matt Kitzerow KMMS Principal
Laura Lloyd KMMS Associate Principal

Cybersecurity Visitor in Mrs. Olson's Class |
|
|
Mr. Christopher Orlovsky, Security Analyst for a major health services industry, visited Mrs. Olson's Computer Essentials class. He shared his experience with cybersecurity to support the students' current cybersecurity unit of study. He shared some interesting concepts about careers, security, investigating, hacking and other key activities. Students learned about the castle analogy and historical cybersecurity breaches. Students also came away with "food for thought" to improve their own vulnerabilities and how to remain safe online. We appreciate his time to share his experience.

All the fun of Zumba® with resistance training mixed in!
Zumba + Lift® blends the fun, low-impact dance fitness you love with simple strength training using light weights (about 5–10 lbs, though, this is up to you and your fitness level). We will alternate between Zumba® routines and dumbbell weight training throughout the entire class to build strength in our major muscle groups. Start with the weights that you feel comfortable with, and add additional weight over time. Please bring your own set of weights, either 2, 5, or 10 lbs. The goal of these classes is to get stronger in a progressive manner. Classes are held this spring on Tuesdays and Thursdays, sign up today at https://kmsd.revtrak.net/rwcommunityeducation/
