Principal's Post

Hello KMMS families,

Teachers and students have begun preparation for our 2nd Annual KMMS Showcase of Learning. The Showcase night is a really cool opportunity for our students to show their passion for learning and to practice their public speaking skills. Students are to pick one project from any of their classes that they completed this school year and have 45 minutes to present. During that 45 minutes, we are hoping students get the chance to present their project at least 5 times. For that to happen, we need you, our parents, to not only see your child’s presentation but to take in presentations from other KMMS students.

Wednesday, April 30th

  • Last Names A-E  present 5:00-5:45 PM

  • Last Names F-K present 6:00-6:45 PM

Thursday, May 1st

  • Last Names L-R present 5:00-5:45 PM

  • Last Names S-Z present 6:00-6:45 PM

The PTO has arranged for food trucks which will provide options for dinner and dessert. Please see the KMMS Showcase of Learning flyer for more details. We had a great turn out last year and look forward to this event being even better this year!

Have a great weekend!

Doctor notes

While we appreciate medical appointments to be scheduled outside of school hours, we understand that this isn't always possible.  Be sure to get a doctor's excuse at your student's appointment and have them bring the excuse to school.  Their absence will then be medically excused which will not affect their attendance record.
