Principal's Post

Hello KMMS families,

We are now officially less than two weeks away from the KMMS Showcase of Learning and want to update you on the expectations of our students for their night of presenting. Of the two hours that night, students are expected to be at their project for a total of 45 minutes.

Wednesday, April 24th

  • Last Names A-F present 5:00-5:45 PM

  • Last Names G-L present 6:00-6:45 PM

Thursday, April 25th

  • Last Names M-R present 5:00-5:45 PM

  • Last Names S-Z present 6:00-6:45 PM

During that 45 minutes, we are hoping students get the chance to present their project at least 5-7 times. In order for that to happen, we need you, our parents, to not only see your child’s presentation, but to take in presentations from other KMMS students. This is a really cool opportunity for our students to show their passion for learning and to practice their public speaking skills.

Please check out your own child’s project, their friends’, neighborhood acquaintances’, or any projects that pique your interest as you walk around. In addition, we appreciate any support you provide our PTO by eating dinner from Mr. P’s Grilled Cheese food truck and additional snacks/desserts sold in the commons.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Matt Kitzerow
