Hello KMMS families,
We want to thank all of our parents who attended our Showcase nights this week. We are very proud of our students! We also hope our families enjoyed playing Showcase Bingo. Here are our winners from the Bingo card drawing:
Thank you to our PTO for their donation of the gift cards! Mrs. Luna from our front office will be in contact with all winners. Here are a few pictures that parents contributed from the night. It was wonderful to see many of the opportunities our students have on full display.
As we step into May, we want to direct our parents to their email. And yes, you get a lot of emails from us, and we apologize for that. While all of the emails are important, the School Perceptions Survey email is of great importance. We’re hoping for as much feedback as possible from our parents. The survey window closes on May 9th. You will receive a second notification in your email soon if you have not already taken the survey. Please know we thoroughly comb through all survey feedback, discuss it as a staff, and base future school goals on your feedback. In addition, this year’s survey has questions focused on district scenario planning. Thank you for partnering with us!
Have a great weekend,

The Student Senate organized an all school assembly last Friday for all students and staff. There were two games; Simon Says and Musical Dots. Students from all grades competed against each other for bragging rights. The 8th grade won both games! Fun was had by all. Thank you to the Student Senate and several members for organizing and MC'ing the event.
COMMUNITY FISCAL PLANNING LISTENING SESSIONS!!! We will be conducting listening sessions for the board to hear from community members regarding Scenario IIA for addressing the long-term stability of the district. This is a great opportunity for our community to better understand how closing one elementary school, restructuring our 4K-(4 or 5) district boundaries, and making changes to middle school and high school operations, will impact families. This also provides a forum for our community to inform the decision making process and learn more about each of our elementary schools. For more information on the fiscal planning process, please visit kmsd.edu/fiscal-planning.
High School Charter Applications for the 25-26 school year are now available. Please contact the school directly with any school-specific questions.
