Principal's Post

Hello KMMS Families,

Happy Memorial Day weekend! We hope your family enjoys the extra time together as we pause to honor those who have served our country. As we return next week, we’ll be down to just two weeks of school—let’s finish strong! We’re proud of all our students’ growth this year and look forward to celebrating their hard work in these final days.

Cheers to a strong finish,

Matt Kitzerow

Best Buddies - Thanks to Mrs. Suvaka & Team Buddies

BB

KMMS sends a big hug of thanks to Mrs. Summer Suvaka, our speech pathologist, for working to get Best Buddies back up and running this year. Please see a message from Mrs. Suvaka below.

I want to take a moment to showcase some of our amazing students here at Kettle Moraine Middle School! Best Buddies has had a great first year filled with so many moments of kindness, connection, and growth. Watching the friendships form between our students, built on acceptance, respect, and inclusion, has been such a great joy! Whether it was during our events or simple everyday interactions, our students consistently showed what it means to lead with compassion.
I am incredibly proud of the way our students supported one another and helped create a space where everyone felt seen and valued. I have included a link to a slideshow showcasing all of the fun we had this year!
Lastly, I want to give a special thank you to Carmen Daley, Mel Rivera, and Sue Frey for supporting students (& me!) at each event. I truly couldn't have done it without you ladies!
