Principal's Post

Hello KMMS Families,

Ms. Lloyd and I want to thank our parents for helping our students have a successful first week back in school. We are so impressed with how well they have adjusted and how smoothly the first week has gone. Yes, there are definitely some yawns and tired faces, which is quite typical as we reestablish routines.

If you have signed up for the daily announcements emails, you may have noticed Ms. Lloyd and I have included some slideshows to welcome back our students, talk about district values, and hit on a couple important school rules. This week we’ve covered cell phones, keeping our school clean, and the importance of school attendance. Moving forward, each Monday’s announcements will have similar messaging and slideshows that you can access to see what we are sharing with our students.

We are primed to have our best school year yet. Thank you for partnering with us!

Blessings in a Backpack Offered at KMMS

Kettle Moraine Middle School is a proud partner of a non-profit organization called Blessings in a Backpack. Through this partnership, your child is eligible to be a recipient of the Blessings in a Backpack program. This program is currently in all of the Kettle Moraine Elementary schools.

The program is designed to provide non-perishable food every Friday to children that would benefit from supplemental nourishment over the weekend. The program runs the full school year and there is no cost to participate. If you choose to participate, your child will receive a bag of non-perishable food every Friday which will be distributed in a discreet and caring manner.

This will begin Friday, September 19th.

If you want your child(ren) to participate, please complete this form.

The teacher appreciation committee puts on several events throughout the year and we need your help to make that happen!  We understand that not everyone is able to volunteer time with schedules being so busy.  This is a great way to show your appreciation for our teachers and support these ongoing events!  Our goal is to raise at least $3,000 dollars.  The more money we raise the less we will ask throughout the year.  We provide several meals, treats, snacks, coffee, tea, gifts, etc. for the teachers throughout the year.  We also supply the break room with different appliances that the teachers request (microwave, ice machine, tea kettle, etc.).   Link to Sign Up Genius

Your donation will help us give back to the teachers and staff who give so much to our kids!

This is your opportunity to make a cash or supply donation to the KMMS Teacher Appreciation Committee.  Cash donations are made via Infinite Campus.  There will be additional opportunities to donate supplies and food for our hosted meal events throughout the year.

To make a payment in Infinite Campus select your KMMS student, select ' fees' from the drop down menu on the left then select ' optional payments' at the very bottom. Donations should be made using the option " MS - PTO Donation.' Click 'My Cart" on the right side of the screen and enter the amount that you want to donate. Click submit at the bottom of the screen. Thank you for your generous support!
