Principal's Post

Hello KMMS families,

KMMS had an awesome first week of school. We were so happy to have our students back and are impressed by how quickly they have learned new schedules and are working on developing new routines.

This has been a new year with many changes. We are celebrating a more unified KM, with all students having grade-level lunches together and electives together. Ms. Rychlak, 8th-grade teacher, commented yesterday to me how the 8th-grade Inspire students have been incredibly helpful to one another. “How do I turn this in on Canvas?” and other questions are being answered by fellow students, who are sharing their past experiences to help one another.

Our student population is one of the biggest reasons why KM is so special. Our students care about their education, they are helpful to one another, and they have incredibly supportive and engaged parents.

Thank you for all of your support to kick off a new school year,

Matt Kitzerow

KMMS Music Camp Success

The MS Music Team put together a great afternoon of music programming for our 6th grade students. The event captured the enthusiasm the students have toward learning an instrument and participating in our robust music programming! Students spent time with professional coaches, KMSD Music staff, and WEB Leader musicians to be supported in making the first sounds on their new instruments. Thank you to all who made the afternoon a great success!
