Cushing Playground Grand Opening

Cushing's new accessible playground was designed with student input and installed by KMSD's maintenance team

Cushing held their playground grand opening tonight, with well over 150 people in attendance. This accessible and adventurous playground was designed with student input and was only made possible through the hard work of Cushing Staff, PTO, parents, and of course our KMSD maintenance crew who spent many long days this summer installing the equipment and preparing the area. We are so proud of what has been accomplished and want to thank our KM Community for their donations and support as we developed this incredible project!

Thank you KM Sponsors

As we wrap up our Fall facilities projects, hang signs, paint the track, put up fencing, plant grass seed, and dig lots and lots of holes, we want to take a moment and reflect on the incredible support we have received from our KM Community, and especially our sponsors! Please share your appreciation, visit their businesses, and let them know their contributions matter. Without their generosity, none of this would be possible!

Speaking of sponsors... Three Pillars, official naming sponsor of our new tennis complex, has been utilizing the new facilities. We are so happy to be able to share this venue with the community!

KMMS Orientation

KMMS Orientation took place Wednesday night and it was a huge hit with families and students alike. This year, students received their locks in advance to get used to them prior to the big day. This made for a smooth transition as families were able to avoid the lines, visit, drop off supplies, and explore the school. Special thanks to the middle school staff who attended this event!

Dousman staff and PTO welcomed families back to school with their second annual Back to School Family Picnic last Thursday evening. Due to the high heat index, the picnic was moved indoors to the gym and cafeteria, however, they didn't let it fry their fun! Over 300 students, parents and family members enjoyed meeting and reconnecting with Dousman staff. Special thanks to the Dousman PTO for providing the food and to Mr. Steckbauer, Mr. Russart and Cub Scout Pack 73 for grilling and serving.
