Kettle Moraine School for Arts and Performance presents Into the Woods at our newly remodeled auditorium! The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with an epic fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. Please note: This musical contains adult themes which may not be suitable for some young audience members. Tickets available here.
KM elementary schools and high school student government are participating in a Friendsgiving collection that will conclude on November 26th. Donated (NEW) items will be collected into shoe boxes (which we also NEED). These "shoe boxes for Santa" will then be personally delivered to students at WD Williams Elementary School in Swannanoa North Carolina. These students have been terribly impacted by hurricanes, tornados, and flooding. Most were left with nothing. Our goal is to gather up much-needed clothing items like hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, socks, and also a few fun things like toys, art supplies, or puzzles. The school has 450 students at 4 elementary schools, so our goal is to meet and even exceed that need. Drop off your donations at any KM elementary school or at KMHS!
DECA OPERATION CHILD!!! We are looking for NEW items for children aged 2-16 including toys, personal care items, school supplies and basic accessories. Our goal is to fill 100 shoeboxes to send to families in impoverished countries. Items can be brought to KMHS, Cushing, Culver’s Wales, Mama D’s or Chick-Fil-A Delafield by 11/15.
Our auditorium renovation is close to completion, and while we have a generous naming sponsor, they prefer students select the name. Submit your naming ideas by November 20th. Students will vote on the name and it will be announced at our grand opening early next year.

Our first KMHS Campus Expo was a huge hit!!!
Over 100 families attended a presentation on ONE CAMPUS, FIVE SCHOOLS to explore the many choices and opportunities offered at the KMHS Campus. After the presentation, students and parents were able to speak with administrators, staff, and students and visit the many tables set up by KM clubs, teams, and activities! This was a perfect event for KM middle school families, and those considering open enrollment, to gather information for next year. Our next big event will be the K-12 KM Showcase on February 19th. If you'd like to learn more about the many opportunities for your child in the Kettle Moraine School District, visit our website.
Cindy Houk from Dousman Transport has operated our KM Terminal with efficiency and warmth for much of her career. She is retiring after 41 years with Dousman Transport. John Stellmacher, KMSD Chief Financial Officer, and Jeremy Struss, KMSD Business Manager, stopped by to celebrate Cindy's retirement and wish her well!
Each year, Mr. Bestor's leadership students write and design their own children's books and read them to KM Explore students. It is a wonderful mentorship opportunity and our high school students really benefit from the input of younger learners on their work.
We also rent space and are happy to facilitate your events, courses, or activities.
