Into the Woods opens tonight Thursday December 12th at the new KMHS auditorium. We talked with the cast about this entertaining and elaborate production and it sounds amazing. We will have performances at 7:00pm Thursday through Saturday, then a 2:00 show on Sunday!

Deer District Prep Showcase February 8th at Fiserv Forum featuring ten of the state's top teams. The Lasers earned the primetime 6pm spot vs. Nicolet. Special ticket offer $12 per ticket. The goal is for each school to sell a minimum of 500 tickets.
BUY A SEAT CAMPAIGN!!! A one-time donation of $300 to help fund our auditorium renovation. This facility is widely used by the district and our community, and sponsors will be named on a plaque in the entry. The campaign will expire when all seats are sold. Support Our First Responders
Our annual First Responder Feast will be held December 19th from 10 am - 1 pm in the KM High School Culinary Kitchen B20 (hallway). This brunch, provided by KM culinary students, will bring KM staff and area First Responders together to celebrate the holiday season and our long history of partnership. Culinary students will select recipes, budget their meal plan, prepare dishes, and serve brunch at stations. KM Perform students will create portraits to decorate the hallway and band students will play holiday music throughout the luncheon. Breakfast with Santa
We had another successful Breakfast with Santa, bringing in hundreds of visitors from our KM Community and beyond. Thanks to all of the performers and facilitators!
Art of Writing
The Art of Writing is an annual event, organized by Terry and Janet Kaldhusal, that brings students from all over the state together to explore the Milwaukee Art Museum and share their inspiration through creative works. The daylong event groups students from different schools around common interests in writing, photography, 3D art, or sketching. The museum is closed to the general public, allowing young learners to take over the venue and find their "stories" in the various works. Each student is then tasked with creating an original story, photo, or piece of art that has been inspired by something in or around the museum. This is supported by several instructional videos to help them bring their own talent and perspective to their work and to provide constructive feedback for their peers. The students will prepare final works to submit for publication over the next month. The best works will then be published in a digital book at the end of the year. We will be featuring this event as a Capturing KM video in the coming weeks!
Golden Lasers
Join the Golden Lasers Friday, December 13 at 11:15 at the Brandybrook Community Center. All KM Senior Citizens are welcome for lunch and a wonderful holiday program by the Civic Broadway Singers. Lunch is $7, reservations can be made by calling 262-968-6273 x4641

KMHS BOYS BASKETBALL REMAINS UNDEFEATED AT 5-0! The boys racked up yet another win over Westosha Central 62-43 pushing them up to the #3 spot in the state. Their next game will be at Muskego High School on Tuesday, December 17th at 6:30pm. Let's pack the stands!!
