Dousman Elementary fifth graders traveled to the State Capitol and the Veteran's Museum where they enhanced their learning with interactive tours. The students also enjoyed a discussion with Justice Hagedorn, a KM parent, about the inner workings of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the importance of the judicial branch in our state government.

Breakfast with Santa TOMORROW!!
SATURDAY, DEC. 7TH 8:30-1 @KMHS!!!! The pancake breakfast will be held in the cafeteria from 8:30-11:30am. Get your tickets. Cost for breakfast is $8 for kids under 10 and $12 for adults. Santa will be available from 8:30-11:30am for visits and photos. The craft fair is free and runs from 8:30am-1pm with about 50 crafters participating. This is a great opportunity to get unique, quality, homemade gifts and decorations for the holiday season! KMSD music groups will playing holiday music throughout the morning and the KMHS band plans activities for kids. Santa and his elves will also be there for photos! The district will also be hosting a t-shirt decorating station, so stop by to visit. We look forward to seeing everyone. Happy Holidays!
Skate for Tots
Bobby M., a KMMS student, has organized a skate contest and toy drive this Saturday at Four seasons skatepark. He’s been making videos, and posting them on social media to promote the event, and has even reached out to companies for sponsorships. The response has been incredible, and he's brought in a great deal of support. We hope you will join him to give to this wonderful cause and see some fantastic boarding!

Deer District Prep Showcase February 8th at Fiserv Forum featuring ten of the state's top teams. The Lasers earned the primetime 6pm spot vs. Nicolet. Special ticket offer $12 per ticket. The goal is for each school to sell a minimum of 500 tickets.
BUY A SEAT CAMPAIGN!!! A one-time donation of $300 to help fund our auditorium renovation. Patrick Stinnett, KMHS game/film design teacher, visited the kindergarten classrooms at Wales Elementary (Ms. Hoffland and Ms. Peters' classes) to show us his beehive. We've been reading the MyView shared reading book From Nectar to Honey this week.
Sweet Celebration
Dousman Elementary met their goal of raising $16,000 at their annual Fun Run. This helps provide our PTO with funding for many important initiatives in our school. As a reward, students got to PIE MR MONDAY in a fun assembly! It is one of the highlights of Dousman's school year and Mr Monday is always a great sport! Not many principals would take almost 40 pies to the face for a good cause! Thank you all again to everyone who has supported our Fun Run and made this event possible.

The students learned a great deal from the college-level instructors and were given valuable feedback on their performance. Experiences like these are incredibly important in developing musical talent in our students!

Support Our First Responders
Our annual First Responder Feast will be held December 19th from 10 am - 1 pm in the KM High School Culinary Kitchen B20 (hallway). This brunch, provided by KM culinary students, will bring KM staff and area First Responders together to celebrate the holiday season and our long history of partnership. Culinary students will select recipes, budget their meal plan, prepare dishes, and serve brunch at stations. KM Perform students will create portraits to decorate the hallway and band students will play holiday music throughout the luncheon. Culinary Immersion Global Field Trip
Northern Italy – March 2026!
Join us for an informational meeting on Tuesday, December 10 from 6:00-7:00 pm or Thursday, January 23 from 6:00-7:00 pm in Room 231 (KM Global Discovery Room). Interested students must attend one informational session with a parent/guardian. Students must have completed or be enrolled in Foods for Life (KMHS students) and/or Travel Seminar (KM Global students) by March 2026 if they would like to attend.
Join KM High School and KM Global for an extraordinary culinary journey through the heart of Italy’s gastronomic legacy on our school trip to Parma, Modena, Bologna, and Rimini! Students will have the opportunity to visit local farms, factories, and historic food markets, to learn from artisans and chefs. This trip will deepen students' appreciation of Italian culinary artistry, culture and history.
