HS^2 students had an amazing opportunity to participate in a cultural immersion trip to Panama. They were able to work with the local community to teach children about oral hygiene and proper nutrition, install a concrete floor for a computer lab, and make improvements to the hosting facility where they stayed. The students also had an opportunity to tour Panama City. These glimpses into other cultures enrich student experiences and provide valuable opportunities for learning.

Summer Academy Registration Opens Monday!!!
Students will be able to choose four courses per day (with the exception of Moving on to Kindergarten). To accommodate more families and staffing demands we will again run two separate sessions lasting six weeks total. Session one will run June 16-July 3 and session two will run July 7-July 25. Students can attend the full six weeks or one session only if preferred. Session two classes will be a repeat of content and activities from session one, unless noted in the course description. For open-enrollment students interested in "trying" KM, Summer Academy courses are available for a fee. Sign up Monday!
Perform Alumni Concert
Celebrating 15 years, Kettle Moraine School for Arts and Performance presents the KM Perform Alumni Recital to benefit guest artist funding in KM Perform – Friday, March 21st at 7:00pm in the Prism Arts Center at Kettle Moraine High School. Purchase tickets now for this exciting event!! Cost is $10 Seniors, Students, and KM Perform Alumni, $25 General Public, $25 Wisconsin Dance Conservatory Adults, and $10 Wisconsin Dance Conservatory Students. Attend the 7th Annual LAX BLAST on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 6:30pm-10:30pm at Western Lakes Golf Club. The evening includes dinner, music, silent auction, raffles and cash bar. Culver's Cares Fundraiser for Best Buddies March 19th from 4-7pm!!! We will be holding another fun dining night out at Culver's in Wales to raise money for Best Buddies, an important student club that builds supportive friendships among KMHS Campus students.

Host Families Needed
Foreign exchange students need host families for the 25-26 school year. We have A boy, Adrian 17, from Spain who is interested in astronomy, cars, and sports, and plays basketball. We also have two girls: Antonia, 16, is from Germany and loves crafts, art, writing, and pets. She participates in dance, field hockey, swimming, and tennis. Lucie, also 16, is from Belgium and enjoys art and reading. She participates in softball, gymnastics, and volleyball. The students' families pay all expenses and provide medical insurance. Mariella Lehrmann, a junior in HS^2, has been named a 2025 Carson Scholar. The Carson Scholars Fund awards scholars in grades 4-11 who demonstrate the highest standard of academic achievement, integrity, and civic and social responsibility with a $1,000 college scholarship. Great work Mariella!

Jazz in the Kettle
Join us for a night of "Jazz in the Kettle" on Tuesday, March 18th! The concert will feature the 7th and 8th Grade Jazz Ensembles from KMMS, KMHS Orchestras, KMHS Vocal Jazz, the KMHS Jazz Combo, and KMHS Jazz Ensembles 1 and 2. This free concert starts at 7pm and is in the newly renovated Prism Performing Arts Center at Kettle Moraine High School.

Lola Bond, Alexa Darin, Emily Gomez, Lauren Kowalski, Amelia Lephardt, Keegan Lodes, Quinn Lodes, Gina Mbunte, Mollie Montalbano, and Avery Sallmann have all earned Academic All State recognition.
Luke Baril, Jack Barker, Ben Bestor, Bryce Bestor, Chalie Dunham, Zach Froemming, Andrew Ishag, Nick Garvey, Liam Hughes, Caden Jurci, Lew Stuckey, and Roman Thompson made Academic All State. The boys also earned Top D1 team with a 3.76 avg GPA.
Robotics at State
In a fantastic conclusion, KM’s FTC Robotics teams, “Laser Bots” and “Laser Tech” both competed very well at the Wisconsin State Championships at Milwaukee School of Engineering. “Laser Bots” had a deep playoff run and was the recipient of the prestigious “Design Award” for their team’s robot. Meanwhile, “Laser Tech” reached the tournament Finals for the second consecutive year and had the second-highest ranking Autonomous performance of the 28 teams competing in the tournament. Both Laser Bots and Laser Tech were among the top seven scoring teams at State.

Jr Laser Football: Registration is NOW OPEN for Junior Lasers Football! Early Bird Registration: Now – April 7. Late Registration April 8 – June 27 (+$50). K-4th Grade: Flag Football Early Bird Registration: $275. The season will run from August through October. Players will be randomly placed on teams that are balanced by grade-level. Teams will end their season with an “Under the Lights” game on Vock Field. We will need coaches, especially for the K-2 division. MS Track and Field: Our spring season for grades 7/8 begins April 7. Practices will be held M,T,W 2:40-4pm. 6th graders are welcome to practice with the club for three weeks of the season in April to prepare, exercise and learn about track and field. Fall 2025 Youth boys and girls volleyball season: Boys and girls entering grades 5-8 in the fall of 2025 are eligible to participate in the league. Practices are held twice per week August-October with league play on the weekends in the GMYVB League. Tryouts will be held 5/15/25 and 5/19/25 from 6:30-8:30pm at the KMHS Gym. Students entering grades 1-4 in the fall of 2025 are encouraged to join our mini league on Friday nights for volleyball instruction, fun and games.
