Kettle Moraine elementary music teachers produce a musical each year featuring KMMS students. This year's adaptation of the fan-favorite Annie is truly delightful and the level of talent in these young performers was nothing short of amazing. The show starts tonight, Friday April 19th, at 7pm in the KMMS gym. There will be additional performances Saturday April 20th at 2:30pm and again at 6pm. KMEF FUNDRAISER TONIGHT!!!
Grab your wayfarers, cuff your jeans, tease your hair, and pop your collar for our 80s Dance Party! Get your tickets NOW and plan to dance the night away while raising money for a great cause! Tonight's event will feature a fabulous silent auction and raffle, cash bar, Pudgies food truck for purchase, DJ and delicious desserts made by KMHS culinary art students. All proceeds support the Kettle Moraine Education Foundation (KMEF), which provides grants to teachers for educational classroom projects, and scholarships.

KM Day will be May 22 at 6:35 pm. Join us as the Lake Country DockHounds take on the Milwaukee Milkmen at WBC Park. This will be a fun night to celebrate with your KM Community, show your support, and watch a great game! We have a huge group attending and many fun events planned. Plus, for every ticket sold, $3 will be donated back to the district. Sign Up for Summer Academy!!
Summer Academy is a great way to keep students busy, learning, and growing throughout the summer. There are many exciting offerings for every grade level, from games, to outdoor exploration, dinosaur mania, fishing and many more. Courses are open to district residents at no charge. Non-Residents can take courses for a fee. Students can choose four courses per day (with the exception of Moving on to Kindergarten). There are two sessions lasting six weeks total. Session one will run June 17-July 3 and session two will run July 8-July 26. Students can attend the full six weeks or choose to do one session only if preferred. NEW FOR 2024!! Advanced basketball for grades 3-11 will focus on offensive/defensive fundamentals with plenty of competitions. KM coaching staff and varsity players will instruct students in station work and one-on-one instruction. Prior basketball experience is required. This course will run all six weeks of Summer Academy. ENROLL IN KM 4 AND 5K NOW!!! The open enrollment window closes on 4/30 and it is important to apply and secure a spot before it re-opens in summer, as enrollment is first-come, first-served. We also need district residents to enroll in 4K so we can meet your choice of schools and accommodate wrap care requests. There is no need to enroll in KM 5K if your child was in KM 4K this year. Kindergarten in the Kettle Moraine school district is truly a magical experience and we have many wonderful options to meet the needs of young learners and their busy families. Our 4/5K programming builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning and connects families to our school district. KMMS is Making State History!
Four young historians from KM Middle School will be presenting their thesis, evidence, and analysis at the University of Wisconsin on Saturday to a team of judges. Bryn M will support her thesis on the Turning Point in Archeology, A Story Much Bigger Than King Tutankhamun with her website; Max H will defend his thinking on his thesis regarding How One Game Created a Turning Point for Basketball and Higher Education on his website; and Faye M and Avery G will make the argument about The Rocking Turning Point to the Fall of the Berlin Wall with their documentary. Good luck to all of you at the National History Day State event.

Class of 2024 Graduation will be held June 1st at 7:30pm @ Vock Field!!
We are really looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments of these amazing students, particularly because we are able to host the event outdoors at the newly renovated Culver's Stadium. We will have fireworks following the event and intend to make this a very special and memorable evening for our graduates!
KM Perform Student Selected to Join Kids from Wisconsin!
Ryan Keller plays saxophone in Jazz 1, Wind Symphony and Pit Orchestra and enjoys collaborating, and arranging performances. One of his favorite moments was playing tenor saxophone in MYSO Senior Symphony's performance of An American in Paris at the beautiful Werner Theater in downtown Milwaukee. He looks forward to his first season with KIDS and the invaluable experience of traveling Wisconsin.

A Musical Tale of "The Ugly Duckling!"
This heartwarming celebration of being different is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit and memorable score. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. Feeling rather foul about himself, he sets off on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, he finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be. With its bouncing score and universal story, this musical will captivate audiences of all ages. Perform Titans Advance to State!!
The Junior Achievement Titan Business Challenge is a simulation where students play the role of a CEO of a smartphone company and try to run the most successful business among competing teams. Grayson Gaffney and Nick Sievert from KM Perform placed 2nd in our area, earning a $500 scholarship each! Ella Hannes, also part of the team, will join Nick and Grayson as they advance to the statewide competition on May 2.
KMHS Recognized for Global Diplomacy!
AFS recognized Kettle Moraine's dedication by presenting their official Medallion Member Certificate to Mr. Justin Bestor. Kettle Moraine is currently hosting an AFS student, Theresa Harzer, who is a distinguished scholar of the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX). Theresa was present to receive her certificate as well!

Girls Basketball Camp: For grades 3-8 will be offered June 10-13 with Coach Stranc. Join the high school coaching staff and players for a week long camp focusing on many offensive and defensive fundamentals with plenty of competitions.
KM Girls Basketball Club offers State Champ Camp: Players who want to bring their game to the next level and learn what it takes to become a State Champ. This will be an advanced level camp for all age levels so previous experience with competitive basketball is strongly recommended. K-2 Girls Basketball Camp- Coaches by Mr. J. Bestor, with help from high school and middle school players. Campers will have fun practicing basic basketball skills with daily skill challenges.
Boys Basketball Toughness Boot Camp: Join Coach Richert and his staff along with high school players for fundamental basketball work. Camp is for grades 3-8 June 10-13 from 3-5pm
Boys Basketball Point Guard and Shooting Camp: June 24-27 from 1-3 pm Grades 4-8
