This annual event is such a fun, creative way to experience different methods of creating pottery! Students from Mrs. Prokop's class gathered in the parking lot to fire their pottery using the ancient Japanese style of raku. The pieces are fired outdoors, then transferred to a closed metal container containing paper or sawdust. These materials ignite and create soot which modifies the glaze and creates rich, dark deposits.

KM DAY AT DOCKHOUNDS THIS WEDNESDAY AT 6:35 PM!!!! Join us as the Lake Country DockHounds take on the Milwaukee Milkmen at WBC Park. This will be a fun night to celebrate with your KM Community, show your support, and watch a great game! For every ticket sold, $3 will be donated back to the district. As extra incentive, KM, Arrowhead, and Oconomowoc will be competing for an additional $1/ticket by selling the most tickets. Get your tickets now! We have many fun events planned. Festival of Bands
The District Festival of Bands will be held on May 21st in West Gym at Kettle Moraine High School. This event showcases all of our talented musicians in grades 6-12. It is a great opportunity to enjoy one large event featuring student performances at the middle and high school level.
CONTEMPORARY DANCE CAPSTONE FUNDRAISER TONIGHT!!! The show will be held in the KMHS Auditorium on Friday, May 17th at 6 pm. Cost $12 per ticket. Ella Mathison of KM Global is using her senior capstone to combine her passion for dance with fundraiser for LifeStriders in Waukesha. Get your tickets or buy them at the door!
SPRING ARTISAN MARKET TOMORROW!!!! KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th from 9-12! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our friends at the Hunger Task Force.
Art & Ice Cream May 20th 5-7 pm! This KM Global Capstone event will display student artwork and hold an ice cream social selling Culver's custard. Funds raised will be donated to Hands of Hope. Contact Mia Anderson for information or to volunteer.
Graduation will be held June 1st at 7:30pm @ Vock Field!! Let's celebrating these amazing students at the newly renovated Culver's Stadium. We will have fireworks following the event and intend to make this a very special and memorable evening for our graduates!

ENROLL IN KM 4 AND 5K! Kindergarten in the Kettle Moraine school district is a magical experience and we have many wonderful options to meet the needs of young learners and their busy families. Our 4/5K programming builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning and connects families to our school district. The open enrollment window re-opens in summer, and most of our elementary schools have spaces open. We also need district residents to enroll in 4K so we can meet your choice of schools and accommodate wrap care requests. Enrollment is first-come-first served. There is no need to enroll in KM 5K if your child was in KM 4K this year. To explore options and learn more, contact 4K Director Justin Nies.
IMPORTANT: KMHS Campus Parking Lot Closures Beginning Sunday, June 2, 2024 A total parking lot resurfacing begins Sunday, June 2, 2024. As a result, all students and most staff will need to park on the south side of the building. The northeast staff lot remains open. In addition, the most northern entrance, near the track, will also be closed. Students with parking passes should be able to find adequate parking in the south lot as senior graduation occurs on Saturday, June 1st.

Signing Day
Today was our spring and military signing day, along with some academic/athletic awards. Eric Larson, Tyson Grunewald, Elijah Kolstad-Woods, and Connor Price committed to military service. Emilia Bullock, Anna Williamson, Jack Wagner, Jonah Roloff, Reed Burns, Ian Roman, Amelia Monyelle, Zak Sokolowski, Anna Sueflohn and Taylor Ford committed to colleges. WIAA Scholar Athletes: Alison Abhold and Miles Burchardt were awarded, along with Classic 8 Scholar Athletes: Briana Binagi, Madeline Bingenheimer, Samantha Brown, Reed Burns, Lucas Garvey, Brooke Graf, Lauren Jungen, Emelia Matthews, Brayden Sikorski, and Cole Thompson.

Tennis and Pickleball Opportunities: The Kettle Moraine Tennis Association (KMTA) along with Community Education has many spring and summer opportunities for tennis and pickleball for youth through adult. Pickleball-Summer session AM or PM M-F, 6/10-8/2 The open pickleball paddle band is your ticket to playing pickleball on the new KMHS pickleball courts!
Men and women recreational tennis leagues -June-August This league will be organized by KMTA volunteers, and you will receive a schedule with possible bye weeks, depending on the number of registrants. Singles and doubles will be available, with a heavy emphasis on doubles to maximize court time. Balls will be provided
Adult Tennis Drill and Play - Men and Women players will be provided with instruction from tennis professionals and assistants on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at KMHS. The format for these sessions includes an hour of instruction on technique and strategy, followed by an hour of competitive play
Youth Tennis Academy-Eligible players (ages 10 – 18) will be divided by ability level and specific lesson plans will be modified to meet the player’s ability. Lessons will be progressive, consisting of technique instruction, drills, conditioning, and competition.
Cheerleading Fall of 2024: Register now for Jr. Laser and Little Laser Cheerleading for the fall. Grades K-8 are encouraged to be part of the KM Cheer program. Grades K-5 practice once per week. August -October with performances on Saturday mornings at local flag football games. Grades 6-8 practice twice per week July-October with Saturday morning performance at local football games. Adult Conversational Spanish-Live Virtual: Are you seeking opportunities to practice speaking Spanish? If so, this is the class for you! Instructors will engage participants each week with real-life conversation scenarios to encourage chatting and conversation. Summer Youth Volleyball Camps offered: Camp will focus on developing the fundamental skills for our younger players and work on advancing the skills of our more advanced players in a fun, friendly camp environment. There will be a balance of individual skill drills as well as game play to increase the talents of all participants. Girls Basketball Camp: For grades 3-8 will be offered June 10-13 with Coach Stranc. Join the high school coaching staff and players for a week long camp focusing on many offensive and defensive fundamentals with plenty of competitions.
KM Girls Basketball Club offers State Champ Camp: Players who want to bring their game to the next level and learn what it takes to become a State Champ. This will be an advanced level camp for all age levels so previous experience with competitive basketball is strongly recommended.
K-2 Girls Basketball Camp:Coaches by Mr. J. Bestor, with help from high school and middle school players. Campers will have fun practicing basic basketball skills with daily skill challenges.
Boys Basketball Toughness Boot Camp: Join Coach Richert and his staff along with high school players for fundamental basketball work. Camp is for grades 3-8 June 10-13 from 3-5pm
