THE HOMECOMING PARADE WILL BE EVEN BETTER (AND LONGER) THIS YEAR!!! We have expanded our parade route to accommodate all of the amazing clubs and activities that will be participating. The parade will start at Wales Elementary at 5:15 on Friday 10/11!! We encourage all schools, clubs, and activities to participate. Volunteers are needed to supervise and facilitate the parade as walkers, passengers, and drivers. Sign up now to participate. Line up is at 4:30 at KMHS South Side Parking Lot (Laser Entrance). Kettle Moraine Music Parents is once again hosting the Homecoming Chili/Mac N Cheese Dinner on October 11th from 4pm - 7pm at the KM High School cafeteria. Volunteers are needed, so please sign up. We need your help to make this year's event successful. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and 100% of the proceeds go directly back into supporting music programs in KMSD. We are looking forward to seeing KMMS parents/guardians Monday night (9/30) from 6:00-7:00 PM for our Back-To-School Night. Information will include: an overview of your child’s school day, key points related to student’s core area subjects (math, science, literacy, and social studies), homework expectations and technical tips. There will also be grade-level presentations.

Football Packer Ticket Fundraiser!
A generous donation from a KM football family has provided a chance to WIN 4 tickets to the Dec. 23rd, 7:15 pm Monday Night Green Bay Packer vs the New Orleans Saints game at Lambeau Field. The tickets are in section 435 outdoor club seating. From outdoor club seats, you can go inside, sit at a bar, order food, and watch the game from inside. Each raffle ticket costs $50. All tickets must be purchased here by 9/30/24. The drawing will take place at the 10/11/24 football game and the winner will be contacted. All funds raised will go to equipment upgrades.
KM TENNIS SENIOR NIGHT!! Senior night was filled with celebration and victory! The team took home the win against Waukesha South with a 7-0 sweep. The Conference Tournament is this Saturday at Woyahn Tennis Complex.
GIRLS VARSITY GOLF TAKES 3RD IN CLASSIC 8!!! Congrats Avery Sallmann for making honorable mention in the Classic 8. Reagan Cloninger took 8th with a personal best of 84.
CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL TOMORROW AT NAGAWAUKEE!!! The KMHS “Pete Nielsen Invitational” cross-country invitational is this Saturday at Nagawaukee Park! The first race is at 8:45am!

After School Spanish Cushing and Wales Elementary: Studies show that children learn another language more easily when it is a topic that they find fun and interesting. This year’s Vamos series incorporates useful and exciting Spanish vocabulary, culture, and conversation skills.
In our ¡Vamos a Comer! (Let’s Eat!) class, students will be introduced to the market experience from Spanish speaking countries, ordering food in a restaurant, and vocabulary to use at mealtime.
In our ¡Vamos con los Animales! (Let’s go with the Animals!) class, students will experience imaginary animal adventures with hands-on lessons “visiting” a pet store, a family farm, the zoo, the ocean, and even the rainforest!
